Serene environment with great craft beer and shots while overlooking the Tyne river is a yes every time. Prices might be a bit steep but seems like good value for money

Visited on a Wednesday so the tap room and coffee shop was the only things open. Little bit disappointed that they only had one of their own beers on. However they had a good choice of other breweries Ver carta

Beautiful location, drinks are beautiful, you can try out different types as they are not your usual, they brew several different types. Staff are always friendly, it is great to be out, right by the river with fantastic views of Newcastle the bridges.

Incredible experience sitting by the Tyne at the dawn. Really nice light effects on the bridges around us, excellent fire at the back and good drink service because food took twenty minutes to come. It was good music but pointing over the river. Very polite bouncers at the entrance.

Really popular bar and an absolutely ideal location for catching a little sunshine when it appears. Nice staff and good beers too. Damn steep though, but that's somewhat standard for a place of this stature. The overall picture here is definitely a big positive, but do not rock up expecting to sink a load of Carling. Ver carta

Fab location with great selection of food outlets. We tried a couple and would highly recommend Dabbawal Indian street food! Point to improve: It’s on the expensive side £7 a pint), the beer selection is small considering its a tap location and the app confusing. Didn’t take away from awesome location and fab food/drink atmosphere would defo recommend

Great dog and group-friendly hang directly on the river. Fun selection of craft beers and loads of street food options on the hawkermarket. Veganatomy szechuan sincean banh mi was particularly delicious. Smooth operation with very friendly staff. Scan and order with W8R app, and your order is served directly to your table (other areas will explore different menus).

I think we visited on the wrong day as the atmosphere seemed off. It was sterile and the barman wasn't particularly approachable. The beer selection was fine, lots to choose from but not much variety in style. The outside seating area was plentiful and the fire pits were a nice touch. On a Friday night this is probably the place to be, but a Tuesday not so much. Give it a visit, the view by the river is worth it. Ver carta
