"It had been a few years since we 'd tried a Byron restaurant and we really regretted going! When we were last in a Byron, they had courgette fries, a section of specific vegan options, vegan shakes, and more. They 've now streamlined their menu, so they claim that any burger can be replaced by a vegan one. That means that the options aren 't as interesting and it doesn 't feel like they want to cater for vegans. Also, they refused to make any of the children 's meals vegan, which meant we had to order adult meals for the children, which was expensive and wasted food. Surely they could have tossed a vegan burger onto a child-sized bun? They don 't have the courgette fries any more and their only vegan shake was salted caramel (yuck! . In addition, our waiter was completely disengaged and didn 't appear to understand the menu. He didn 't know if apple juice counted as a soft drink for the meal deal, even though apple juice is listed on the soft drink part of the menu, and he didn 't know which sauces were vegan, and he showed no attention to the allergies at the table (he tossed a binder on the table and said, Up to you if you read it. . When we asked for the bill, he instead started cleaning the table, though we had children who were restless and needed to go. He also was annoyed we wanted to split the bill and said we had to help him work it out. We had to pay a 10% surcharge for this service . The food took around 40 minutes to come, which was unreasonable for a fast food restaurant. We had very hangry children who were desperate for anything by the time the food arrived, and yet they didn 't care that much for what they got. No one apologised for or explained the long wait. Definitely will not be going back!"

My Brie burger wasn’t the hit I was hoping for, it needed more cranberry, I loved the thyme torture though, and the fact they had Brooklyn IPA on draft.

First and last visit yesterday lunch time. Lovely food but not impressed with the 10% surcharged automatically added to the bill. Tipping should be the customers choice not the companies

Wasn't sure about the place, being vegetarian at a burger restaurant. Ordered the easy cheesy fries and onion rings. It's the best veggie burger ever. Full of flavour. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

We did go on a Tuesday which is why it was quiet. But service was poor, they seemed more focused on wiping the empty tables than serving us. Burgers were supposed to be pink but were well done. Pointed that out to the staff who took no action. Food was ok. Then there 's the 10% tip automatically added to the bill...

Nate gave us the best greeting and reassured us that although busy the wait time for food was good. He was so right. The burgers were amazing.. I recommended the Smokey. Lennon my waiter, suggested it and he was spot on..his table service was excellent. Nothing too.much trouble. Well done guys at a busy time.too Bravo

Was rely impressed by the vegi burger, fantastic quality. I panicked after taking the first bite thinking I'd been given a meat burger. Best tasting vegi burger I've ever had. I do eat meat so asked for bacon with my vegi burger, the smokey burger, I just never eat meat burgers or sausages, always go for the vegi options. Onion rings were also good.

Had a nice meal for my sister’s birthday in here and it’s great that every single burger can be made vegan although it’s odd there are no vegan puddings. Our waiter called Balash (sorry if misspelled) was so friendly and attentive to our table of 8, he made the experience that extra bit nicer for us and put a smile on all of our faces. Great customer service really matters and he went above and beyond!

Our burgers were lovely, and the service was great! But we ordered the mac and cheese, which I had before and did not enjoy, but we thought this time it could have been better as somebody sitting next to us had ordered it and it looked lovely. It tasted of cornflour and it was so dry, so my mother politely told the waitress as a heads up. We hadn’t even touched it had 1 bite each and he didn’t offer to compensate or knock it off our bill, just a heads up don’t get the mac and cheese!! So starchy

We tried here, after having a bad experience in the Windsor branch 3 years ago, hoping Norwich would be a lot better. That was an mistake. It was between Christmas and New Year, so was busy, but if you can't offer decent food and service, don't seat customers. First off, no milkshakes available we were told. That's fine, no issue. However, when we came to order drinks, there were other drinks not available, which we weren't made aware of when seated. We all decided (family of 3) on a cheeseburger each.
