A lovely family owned cafe in Shoreditch, serving delicious food for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The owners are so friendly highly recommend!

The most amazing food, service, and people. Andrei is a star! Such a nice environment and we were so impressed by the food being bought out for a group dinner. Can cater to all dietary requirements!

What an absolutely charming place! We came over Cafe12 by dumb luck and were utterly pleased! The food was delicious, the staff serviceminded, relaxed and fun, and the venue is really charming. An absolute must in Hackney!

The food at this restaurant is truly fantastic, with a wide range of options all prepared right in front of you. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a standout. I highly recommend this place, it was a fantastic way to start my vacation! The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and the staff are delightful as well.

I don't normally write reviews unless they are bad but this place was amazing. Food was yummy (had a full breakfast) the roof terrace was a cute escape and the guy serving was just so kind!!! Honestly couldn't recommend enough. Saw it on google on yelp this morning, and the reviews were great had to check it out and so glad we did!!! This hidden place, in a suburb, with a small entrance, does not shine like the place to eat in London. The visible kitchen looks like that of the average eatery. However, the place is more than worth the trip. The small dining room, exiguous steps to the open air function room, have an imitable air of cosiness. The surprises come from the food, cooked and displayed with undeniable talent. Service is definitely personal, contributing to the atmosphere of this special place. We were initially suspicious when we saw, on TripAdvisor, few or no critical reviews, and a lot of reviews that verge on a collection of comments from a fan club. Cafe 12 is absolutely amazing. My partner and I visited yesterday and the service from Andre and his lovely host (sorry, I can't remember your name) was exceptional. This is the kind of local cafe that you want to support. We both ordered the lasagna, which was delicious and came in a generous portion. Andre, the owner, even brought us some fresh pesto that he had made himself. As we were enjoying our meal, he asked if we liked spicy food, and despite our confusion as our food was already there, Andre brought us a complimentary plate of chili carne to share.
