very fast and friendly service. my server changed to English when she realized that I fought in German! the egg I was served was excellent. I would definitely come back here.

Having toured the Residenz and Dom, this cafe provided a good place for a beer and a coffee. Situated on a corner just below the cathedral, it's a choice spot to watch the trams and the world pass by.

A lovely large spacious cafe next to the cathedral and at the end or junction of the two main Shopping streets Handy for a quick coffee waitinf for a tram or a nice relaxed warm lunch coffe is very good and lovely cakes

The atmosphere was lovely and had a strategical location so i figured it would be nice to grab something from here, I was wrong. When I ordered food (which was no where near delicious) and took a bite from my sandwich while waiting for my...mom to get her order in line, they asked me to leave just for this. Never coming here again.

After visiting several churches in wurzburg, my colleague and I sought a liquid refreshment. we came to the caffe at the dom and sat at one of the outside tables and each had a beer – a dark one for my friend and a. camp for me. we found the service to be friendly and efficient and this oasis offers an excellent opportunity to observe people.

Although it was a Saturday and with summer weather, I had no difficulty dressing a table in caffe. service was timely and friendly, although the caffe was pretty busy. the choice of cake and baked is extensive, the coffee tasty, and the ambiente. invites you to stay. the caffe is just a few steps away from the cathedrale, so a perfect place for a break and a delicious piece of cake.

Cafe am Dom has a prime location! It is easy to locate being right in front of the Cathedral. If you sit outside you have a great view of the cathedral and surrounding downtown area. The staff seemed friendly and quick, I ordered an After...8 Ice Cream which is mint ice cream with chocolate. The ice cream dishes in Germany are always the best, and this was as good as many others I've had. There are also pastries and cakes to order along with coffee and other drinks. In Wurzburg, there are cafes and ice cream shops on every corner, which is a good problem to have!

The Café am Dom is just outside the main cathedral in Wurzburg and a welcome relief it was too for a couple of footsore travellers. We enjoyed a couple of cold and hot drinks here and sat bewildered at the party of geriatric locals who...knocked off enormous glasses of ice cream, with fruit, sauces, cream and nuts. Our cappuccinos were about as weak and watery as usual because they come from cheap machines which make a range of coffee drinks, and not from proper espresso machines hand made by a trained barista. pent a couple hours here with friends drinking hot cocoa and ice cream. My spouse had a Pizza-Eis, which was a plate with lots of fruit over vanilla ice cream and whip cream. The ice cream melted quickly and in the plate, so it spread...over the plate and was so thin that it was difficult to scoop. He really liked it but wouldn't order it again due to the plate design. His and his cousin's cappuccino were very tasty and large. His cousin ordered the Banana Split which she really liked as she orders it every time she goes there.
