"Always stop here in Moffat for lunch on our travels through Scotland... they never ever disappoint to fill our bellies, this café is a family favourite that we always look forward to. Service is quick, staff are welcoming and recognise us every year, it's always busy but that's great for them as they deserve every good customer they get. I recommend the hot chocolate with cream."

Perfect little cafe in the lovely Scottish town, Moffat. Just a mile off the motorway so ideal for a break on our drive home from Glasgow. Free parking outside too! Excellent coffee. Ver carta

We had the big breakfast sustained us all the way back to London. Perfectly cooked with good quality haggis, Lorne, bacon. Staff were friendly and very efficient in such a busy cafe.

Love this place. We had Sunday breakfast there, one standard traditional breakfast and one mini traditional breakfast, both were excellent. Nicely cooked quality ingredients, not full of grease.

You can tell that this is a good place as it is always full of locals. They do a great pot of tea, a gorgeous selection of cakes and lovely takeaways (salads, rolls, sandwiches) for those travelling on. Ver carta

Well that was my first time their was really impressed with choice of menus plus the staff were excellent they were busy but staff were so pleasant saw to our orders really fast. What we ordered was I st class when I do go back to Moffat when ever I will most certainly go to airetcafe

Popular old fashioned Italian Cafe serving great coffee, cakes and Breakfasts. A must stop place when travelling from Edinburgh to Lancashire. Service great and quick even when busy so they are clearly experienced. Marble tables, checkered tiled floor, everything clean, food mostly homemade and nothing tacky or flash. Ariete means Ram, Moffat’s traditional symbol.
