Cafe Babbs - Carta

Fantastic food and friendly staff, with table service available inside or outside. Lovely little gem of a cafe in Babbacombe.

Sweet owners, full of life. Food was fine, though chocolate milkshake tasted a bit odd. Did the job and filled a hole nicely!

I would be very lonely this christmas if the caffe babb’s hadn’t opened for the locals to have a great lunch only for each eating that was excellent and the personal made them feel as if they were part of a family.

Quite simply the best meal we had whilst on holiday! The breakfast was all freshly cooked and tasted simply amazing. The staff were all extremely friendly and efficient and the cafe clean and appealing. For the best full English breakfast, this is the place to...go!

On of the best cream teas in the area. Served in proper dishes, not plastic. Lu Lu's delightful little boy serving and taking orders without the need for a note pad. Charming and efficient. Home cooked produce. Café by day, Thai restaurant and takeaway in...the evenings. Ver carta

have they visited here occasionally and the whole day breakfast is excellent, although I changed to veggie sausages. very helpful to make changes to the order. very reasonable and as his full of native thought they can not be wrong and they were not, best. place in Babbacombe/Torquay.

We were looking for a light lunch and came across Cafe Babbs today. Soup and Jacket potato with prawns. Delicious! Staff and owner particularly friendly and then we saw homemade cakes- sadly the lemon drizzle had sold out but the baked cheese cake and Victoria...sandwich with fresh cream were a delight and as the sign stated ‘homemade’. No bakery could supply anywhere near the quality we were offered. Sadly we go home tomorrow but when we come back to Torquay we will certainly return. Highly recommend

Very good value for money. Only per head for three course traditional British turkey lunch. Nearly all ingredients sourced locally so top marks for that. Roasted vegetable soup was excellent, main course was plenty full and as advertised, Pudding choice of Pan’s homemade cheesecake...or chocolate roulade. Both must be added to the normal menu, they were both that good. Washed down with a Thai beer or two. The real ingredient though was the staff. From the kitchen to front of house, always a smile, take time to chat and check if all is well. Thankyou all for making Christmas Day so special. Ver carta
