"I visited this restaurant with my husband, children, my parents and my brother and his family. We were visiting Paris as a special holiday together as I live in Australia and my family from the UK. I choose the tartine fromagere which is three different...cheeses on grilled french bread. Two out of my three pieces of bread upon a green salad were burnt, not just a little on the corners, but black and the the majority, including the melted cheese. My brother ordered a special of the day (there was nothing special about this bad boy), duck confit with potatoes, the duck was a tiny shriveled up and cold piece of meat with under cooked potatoes. My brother sent it back and did not want a replacement and explained about the food being poor. I sent mine back and it was clear to anyone what was wrong with mine, the burnt ness dominated the plate. We said we were not going to pay for both plates. The bill arrived and both plates were on the bill, after talking to the waiter who was extremely aggressive and which three other men who worked at the restaurant were starring at us and trying to intimidate us by standing at all exits to the restaurant. After some time the duck plate was taken off of the bill but not my tartine fromage ( cheese on toast ) was not, the waiter explained I had not told him early enough and that he apparently asked me, of which he had not as it was difficult before we questioned the food quality to gain any waiters attention for wine, water ( the water never came by the way or my second glass of wine ). We asked to speak to manager to no avail and he hid within the bar area and felt so intimidated that we paid for my food. I have lived in four countries and travelled to all inhabitable continents of the world and this would be my WORSE eating experience. I was disgusted. I don’t normally ever post anything on here, my first time in fact. Please do yourself a favour and don’t bother with this one, thank you for reading if you got this far !"

This is a place to drink only. I took Omlettewas ok. The area is nice to sit, but this is drinks only place.

pleasant atmosphere and great service by jeanphilippe. merci!!! the food and drinks were quickly brought to the table terrace. this place is late and in a beautiful opposite where a local and lively atmosphere.

I went here as the first place close to the hotel, where there was free table. The service was good, waiters were kind and friendly and I got my dishes quite fast. The quslity of food was an other thing, the steak was like a...chewing gum and tasteless.

awful food, precooked and badly cooked, not delicious at all. not worth money. we tasted the court of the day (lamb with vegetables) and tagliatelle with buffala. the flesh was raw and hardly anyone could eat it. the pasta dish was better, but almost. on the same level of mediocrity. not recommended. this café/restaurant on rue de odessa looked charming and as it is the experience and the coffee for us, we decided to stop here. it was an ok cup coffee in a pleasant, lively environment. at 11 € for two coffees, we also didn't think that was something like a price-performance ratio and would not stop here again.

delicious fresh and delicious food. friendly and friendly service. we had our best pariser meal here. waiter and manager both charming. the food was delicious and full of taste. we had the hunch and the steak followed by crème brûlée and eis. not sure why. there were some negative reviews. our experience was so positiw.

Great positioning for a cafe where you can pay Parisian prices and watch the world go by. We decided to go for dinner one night and had a very pleasant experience. Starters of French onion soup was a definite highlight. Rich in cheese and general...deliciousness. Mains were a tad underwhelming. Visited after a busy day in the centre of Paris and most places were busy as it was theatre night. This place has a Happy Hour , as do most places in Montparnasse, however we just missed it by arriving at just past 9pm. The...specials board was varied, although my first choice had run out so I had the fish course which was tasty. My husband had the duck confit which was okay although a little dry. A little pricey as we only had a couple of drinks and it came to 76 Euros.

The cafe looks inviting and as there where a few small tables available right up front outside in the sunshine, this seemed to be a decent spot to enjoy a coffee, hot chocolate and a croissant for a late breakfast snack. Argumentative young waiter who...was pretty disorganized took his time to take our order. Thereafter service was quick. His equally gifted colleague almost killed me when trying to open the glass windows behind me my young french neighbor just about managed to catch the window before it would have bashed my head in... No apologies from the staff... Coffee and chocolate ok, croissant ok, Parisian prices, say no more....
