"We had reserved a table on the terrace; the show was varied but noisy: we were installed on the sidewalk of the main street of Dampierre in front of the town hall between the restaurant and the staircase that leads to its old entrance. The waitress made an effort to bring the heavy slate, where the card is registered; she turned out to be very friendly, with humor. No menu is offered but the available dishes show a search for originality. The chef's tart (bone covered with tomato, ham and cheese, baked) is quite easy to realize but is a good entry. My wife chose a salmon paved, vanilla coconut sauce. She enjoyed cooking vegetables, crunchy. I was afraid the marinated chicken skewer was too dry, as certainly beef. It was the case, this dish deserved to be served with a sauce, possibly a rest of the marinade. It was much better with some of the coconut sauce that my wife had left! As for home fries, they were very crispy, but a little too fat. The basil lemon pie was good but the peach crumble, too sweet, did not feel the taste of the fruit well. The set was nevertheless very correct (70, 10 € for an entrance, two dishes, two desserts and a glass of wine). This glass of chinon went well, but I would have liked to know its price before ordering it and paying it, the wine card being not provided and the cash ticket being neither given nor offered as it becomes the habit in the shops. A simple calculation made me, then estimate this price at 5,10 €."

finally a good cheap address in Chevreuse Valley. the formula of the day (18€ for 2 services, noon in week) offers an excellent value for money, with the choice between several good well-prepared and copied dishes (e.g., limousine or turbot). So we'll come back without hesitation.

A new owner for this restaurant café, which has revived his life, and especially that makes it the center of life of the village. Pierre and his team, in the undetectable good mood, have the vocation of customer satisfaction to the body. Always looking for new ideas, and new projects for the establishment, they are committed to doing their job well.
