Cafe du Temple - Carta

Free internet, wonderful staff and great wine .... these are exactly what I was looking for in a work and fun space while in Paris

Very happy with this place. The waiter was great! She had no problems with our English, food was delivered quickly, free wifi and croissant was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Robust menu, friendly staff willing and able to communicate in English and provide English menus, and choices both classically French as well as some universal favorites (pasta). Prices are reasonable for Paris and the food is quite good. Easy access from Republique stop (#5 line) on the Metro.

Good food, good service, great location and we'd have gone back if it wasn't for the numerous Parisienne Restaurants of similar quality. An eclectic menu with a good choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Great Bo Ban and the Ile Flottante went down a treat with one of us but not so another. Personal taste buds me thinks.

A nice choice in every moment of the day! Located only 2 min walk away from Republique square, it offers an interesting menu with different possibilities for breakfast, meals or drinks. The staff is amazing, energetic and friendly people who serves very quick and speaks fluently English, Italian and Spanish! Don't forget to try the croissant! Ver carta

I used to come for coffee at Cafe du Temple terrace next to Republique.We went once to have brunch with my wife. We got classic and simple food : eggs and bacon, pancakes with maple syrup, bread, pastries ... We especially enjoyed the quiet cosy atmosphere indoor with large and comfy seats, stone walls and exposed beams. It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Honestly, avoid this place. The staff argues with each other in the dinning room with patrons present which is quite appalling indeed. Not only this, we had to wait approximately 45 minutes for our food and when we got it, the food was cold and the chicken we had was the consistency of a leather boot- overcooked! Apparently they had just forgot the plates on the service counter, what an amateur mistake. Overpriced and nothing but a tourist trap.

Even with the mentality that slow service is good service in France, was utterly disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. After having dinner there with a friend, I was surprised to see this place had such raving reviews. Perhaps it was just a very busy night, but we had to ask multiple times for just about everything on the table except for the bread. Ordered steak au poivre, which was good, not great. Overpriced menu items and not worth it for the overall experience. Would not recommend. Ver carta
