Super relaxed atmosphere and extensive choice of breakfast and lunch Friendly, hardworking and very efficient personnel. Definitely a place to come back to !

Went there for dinner as recommended by a friend. If you like lamb, try the lamb ragout with butter rice. Good ambience interior. Customer service could be improved.

we had the steak tartare at the beginning with a great sauvignon blanc. the club samdwich is the delusion, but also salat and coq au vin is excellent! great loading with very nice waiters. always happy!

excellent breakfast in a pleasant, comfortable environment. our party had the mont blanc (muesli and fresh fruit) and American breakfast (pancakes, obst and sirup.) the eating was good and generous. it's a pity that I'm separate for cold milk with my tee or. or I would have given five stars.

This restaurant is nearly always full which speaks volumes. The food is excellent. Good atmosphere. Lovely location with view over Votiv Kirche. Look forward to my next visit! Try the truffle Pommes. could not decide what to get. tonight was one of the specialties of the chef zoodles, to which I added sampi, and I asked her to make it without wobble. the best meal i have had in europe since i arrived 25 days ago! the taste was excellent!. the amount is just perfect! the temperature was exactly at the point. I am so glad that I went back and forth what to have and then saw the specials listed on the mirror. If I'm ever back in, I'd definitely return.

My husband and myself dined at Cafe Francais last month while we were in Vienna. We were staying nearby at the Hey Mi apartment block and this was an easy 5 minute walk from our building. The Restaurant was busy and had a great warmth...and energy to it. My husband ordered the burger special and I had the Soup and the flambe crepes for desert. Our meal was delicious, quick and well priced. Would definitely recommend popping in for a bite or a coffee at Cafe Francais.

At another repeat visit for more of their standard Bistro fare we were somewhat disappointed, unfortunately: it started already with starters the coupe de champagne a tick too warm, the mezze short on mezze and longer on salad, its accompanying bread not crispy enough....Continued with main dishes the (clear) soupe de poisson had not much of fish but too much lemon, the accompanying grated cheese was half melted already, and the toast cold. The Club Sandwich came with lots of lame french fries and an industrial mayonnaise, and the spinach quiche came nearly burnt and with a small and uninspired side salad. We renounced on desserts.
