We brunched last Sunday pizzeria Café de La Jatte: very good experience, varied products and fresh. The staff is at the top with professionalism and smiling.

An exceptional restaurant! The dishes are worked and tasty. The ingredients are of quality and personal is helpful. I can only recommend, go with my eyes closed.

Good reception, quick and pleasant service, tasty dishes and cherry on the cake: a musical accompaniment (musicians are now presents from Thursday to Saturday from 8:00 pm). Very happy with our evening and dinner.

It was Friday night, there was a piano bar with a singer and a guitarist, too loud with the brouhaha of the full dinner room and bad sound distribution. So it was bothering condition rather than enjoyable ! The entrée of Mezze we choose was really delicious, however the main dish of Spaghetti Al Vongole mussels) or the cabillaud on citron cédrat were not good at all. The ice-cream as a dessert was great. Overall we were disappointed as we paid almost 50€ per person no drinks). We’ll not come back.

I was giving my naturalised Australian brother a treat for his 79th birthday; secret guests, by chance also in Paris, were a favourite niece and her 16 year old daughter. I used to go there 40 years ago, taken by smart Parisian friends. It is now part pizzeria and part restaurant and the drama of the huge prehistoric skeleton is lost. The lunch crowd were local businessmen with little time so initially they got the best service but ours picked up and was excellent in the end. Its still worth a visit and the island of La Jatte, captured for eternity by Seurat and honoured by Sondheim and Lapine in 'Sunday in the Park with George ' is still evocative and wonderful.
