We had a pre-theatre dinner at this restaurant. It was a good meal, and this was our second visit.

Cafe Monico is conveniently located near the Gielgud Theatre and offers a great value Prix Fixe menu in London. I would definitely dine here again next time I'm in Shaftesbury Avenue.

as always, cafe monico was excellent eating, service and value for money it was a bizarre situation when my friend and I just visited before the government imposed the various coronavirus restrictions and I think we were the only customers. it was extremely quiet I hope for the cafe monico and all the employees normality will return soon I will certainly return as soon as I can!

the service was good and tasty. when we arrived, we were assigned a table above. mum and I have impediments to mobility to sit down. that was not a problem. the service was prompt and employees polite. mama wanted an omelette and we were glad that it was in the menu. mama loved her eating and finished it. I had a lemon sole and a side drill. I needed to drill because the fish had nothing to do with it. both were delicious.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Upon arrival, we were initially seated upstairs but requested to be moved downstairs due to mobility impairments. This request was accommodated without any hassle. The service was efficient and the staff were polite. My mother ordered an omelette from the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it, finishing every bite. I opted for the lemon sole with a side of beans, as the fish did not come with any accompaniments. Both dishes were incredibly tasty.

Just next door to the Gielgud Theatre terrific ambience, decor very stylish, like being in a swish club with the central square bar, some banquette seating and good lighting (love the lamps on the bar Food very good, as it was quite late after the theatre I chose a salad with chicken, avocado, crispy panchetta and egg. It was fresh, very tasty and huge ! Sadly could not eat it all there was so much. Husband said his Salad Lyonnaise was delicious. Great value for money. Waitresses excellent. We will return. Ver carta
