"After we were at the META fish dinner last year and have been enthusiastic, we have reserved Ash Wednesday again this year. What a disappointment! Before: the food was good, though very expensive. There was no longer the bottle wine we ordered. But this much only arises when he did not come and we asked. Another very good variety was recommended to us, but it was not pointed out that the bottle is considerably more expensive than the originally ordered. The appetizer came very fast and after that was rest. After about 1.5 hours, our food came on demand. After all, all at the same time. "We picked up a Gin Survival kit for the weekend. With different gin varieties, Tonic Water, Matching garnish, a pass where you can enter the taste of the gin, and even a matching playlist that can be retrieved via a QR code. Incredibly lovingly made, incredibly delicious and in this turbulent Corona period a great idea to enjoy something beautiful. We are and were totally enthusiastic. Do it too! #supportyourlocals"

"After one visit, this is officially one of my favourite places in Germany if not on Planet Earth altogether. It's very small, so call ahead if you are going with a group, but I just adore this place. It's bright and well decorated, and it's cakes, cakes, cakes and they're all vegan. (They serve a soup a day or something, and plenty of drinks, but it's essentially cakes). We went as a group and tried five different cakes: 1) Chocolate cake, 2) Chocolate pie (GF), 3) Carrot Cake, 4) A peach crumble and 5) A Faux Cheescake. It is exceptionally rare to go 5/5, but this place did. I had the carrot cake, and it was one of the best (not quite, the best) I've ever had. Moist, rich, delicious. The chocolate pie and cake were both very solid, as was the peach crumble. The faux cheesecake was my least favourite, but even it was at least good Lots of different cakes available, and they make custom orders. Absolute GEM. Do not miss if you are in Cologne. Prices are also very fair. About 3 Euros for a very large slice."
