reasonable pleasant place in downton Annecy...has outdoor seating with view of the canals....perfect place to sit down for a breather

....popped into town, looked for a place and found this tiny restaurant. Food was very good, wine excellent. Even though pretty busy the service was friendly and attentive.

Cute outdoor cafe with good food. In a great courtyard looking out on some great old buildings. Lots of locals eating there and most of the food we had was excellent. Great wine choices also.

We stupidly judged this on appearance rather than research. It is hugely over-priced, the food was generally poor but at best average, and the staff don't seem to care. There are plenty of other much better places to go in the area so just avoid this one!

This was our first night and we chose the restaurant by the church and fountain. The service was swift, attentive and jolly. There is a set menu which highlights local specialities and we enjoyed a leisurely dinner, with drinks, for a very reasonable price.

The restaurant fitted us in - with our dog - very quickly on a warm, covered patio area on a very busy Saturday night. Risotto, Beef pave and two salads all very good as we're the deserts. Tiramisu was enormous! All promptly served. Waiter was friendly and helpful.

Excellent duck, good wine, reasonable prices, would definitely go back. Less noisy than the nearby street of restaurants and the setting in a quiet square overlooking the end of a stretch of water was a nice change from the throngs in the next street. Desserts much appreciated.

Second one night stay in the town. Took the wife and family to this restaurant, however the initial interaction with the staff was rude albeit the family still wanted to eat there. In fact I was so incensed at the attitude that the family ate an ok meal and I decided that the local Kebab shop was a better choice. At least the staff were more welcoming there. Must of been upset my first ever review

We were wondering around the old town when we decided to find a restaurant with outdoor seating for lunch.We chanced upon the cafe with seating in the square with nice views. We were too late for the set options hence we ordered the duck and the pork.Both dishes were very good. As were the cocktails we had ordered. The service was good, prompt and with a smile.Not sure what the cafe would be like for dinner but we had a wonderful lunch and would be happy to recommend the cafe.
