"the waiter was so rude in here its almost funny. we were ignored for 15minutes when we got in so we took a seat, then when we gried to order we were asked "why were we sitting here?" we said because we wohld like a drink. we then receieved a lecture on how normally people would wait to be seated and he went on and on. me and my wife looked at ecah other waiting for jermely beadle to jump out it was so unbelievable. i had to stop him and told him he was being rude. Pparebtly if we moved one seat forward we would have been okay, however obviously impossible to serve us on the table we were on and he preferred to lecture us and point out that we were stupid.i took my picture from the cafe opposite which is much nicer!"

A relatively limited menu assures that the dishes offered are all good. There is a small bar area where one can convene before eating. Central in Port Grimaud and. a busting environment in season.

Popped here for late breakfast once and back for drinks another time. Great position and service ok but could have been more cheerful. Had to wait some considerable time for our food but nice when arrived.

Lunch in style at this quay side cafe will not disappoint. Fish, samphire sweet potato mash was delicious as was the dessert. Staff were welcoming and efficient and made helpful recommendations from the menu and wine list.

Very well placed on the waterfront with yachts moored no more than 10 metres away. Lovely place to sit and watch boats come and go, also conveniently located for the ferry around Port Grimaud. Just came for drinks which were brought promptly if overpriced. Ver carta

We stayed here for a quick stop over After we had visited Saint tropez. The waiter was not that much interested and left us alone/interupted our First Order and just turned away. The wafle we ordered was pretty dry and not really tasty. The hot chocolat was an Instant powder water thing.Just usual and not worth it to return one day

Located near the terminus of the coche de Port Grimaud and millionaire yacht moorings the Cafe Telline is ideal to sit with a coffee or small libation and watch the world go by. Prices are average for the area and the menu looked good, the service was good too and all in all a great place to visit. Easily found at the edge of the market place before the bridge to he church tower.

This is a superb restaurant! Delicious food. Kids had merlin with pasta and spaghetti bolognaise. Pumpkin soup with chorizo to die for as a starter or brandade de morue - cod! Adults had wild boar with parsnips, surprisingly, carrots, potatoes, etc in a wonderful sauce. I finished with a gormand coffee - small portions of desserts with a good coffee. Kids had ice cream. All in all a very enjoyable meal! Ver carta

A perfect viewpoint overlooking the water, the staff were very friendly and helpful.Main courses were good - nice steak and Seabass both very well cooked , kids meal was basic, the poisson frites was quite bland swordfish which went down well with one child, not the other.Dessert was a a very over gelatined pannacotta which was quite unpleasant, i mentioned it to the waitress yet we were still charged for it.

This place has changed hands many times in the last 40 years that we've been coming to Port Grimaud. Wasn't sure about it but it looked nice, so we had a quick lunch. The one thing that's alway annoyed me at the Cote D'Azur are the exorbitant prices. Not here! We had a shrimp cocktail that came down to 1 Euro per shrimp. All right, they might have been frozen before - but they were nice. And at that price? And the freshest oysters fine de Claire No. 2 for 1,50 a piece! A "fisherman's dish" with "boulots", oysters, shrimp for 10 Euro I couldn't believe it. At the french riviera? In one of the hotspots in the bay of St. Tropez? Come, sit by the water and indulge... Am I giving away a secret her...

"Popped up to this lovely restaurant this week. First things first, if you're going to come in the summer, it's indoors so expect it to be warm and expect to need to book. Also, bring cash. On to the main info. Didier who owns the restaurant is someone my family met when we stumbled on him at a restaurant 15 years ago. Over the years, we have never missed visiting him if we can. The man is worth visiting any restaurant for alone. He is such a character and so charming. Now with his piano in his restaurant, we love to hang around later on in the evening and play/sing a bit of impromtpu jazz too.The setting is cut into the rock and this is exposed in some of the back areas of the restaurant. The walls are beset with lots of colourful and interesting pieces of art that he has gradually accumulated. Expect to be sitting close to fellow guests and on odd chairs with odd patterned china but it's all part of the fun. The food: mum, the pescatarian, loved the aubergine starter and the fish on offer. The lasagne starter was to die for and the chicken so tasty! My bf thought the chorizo on his pizza was incredible. And the lamb gorgeous too. The pain Tchinch was soooo good and a dessert fiend's best friend. A bit like a Belgian waffle. The moelleux au chocolat is always decadent. The food portions are substantial and for the 31 euros for a three course menu (which does not restrict your choices), a bargain! I didn't indulge much this week in wine but I did try Didier's and it was lovely. The upstairs: part of the roof is missing upstairs in the chill out area and it's lovely and cool. Wonderful for relaxing on the sofas/chairs for a complimentary shot of limoncello at the end of the evening.Verdict: this is a lovely hidden gem set in an ancient village with more character than you can find elsewhere in the Côte d'Azur."
