The location is beautiful for an evening dinner. The food is good but the service stinks. The 'owner/man in charge ' is doing a lousy job. Even when he is suppose to take your order, he is talking to somebody else. It happened many times. He should not have customer contact.

The Caffe Porto Vecchio is a great place for lunch and their outside seating area offers lovely views over the old port, the lake and the local street life. Pastas are good, so are their seafood dishes. Prices are about average for Malcesine. Service is friendly, the value for money is good. A recommendable place.

The restaurant has magnificent views. The food is quite good, but the house's tiramizu was a bit too rich. The restaurant really deserves 4 stars, but it has to wait until the service is improved. The manager or headwaiter ? Is completely unconcentrated he forgets orders and interrupts in the middle of conversation with the guests to shout at the young employees who are not allowed to receive orders or settle bills. Not a good system. Ver carta
