"had an early morning walk this morning. the smell of speck and eggs that wafted on the outside grill, as we passed, we only had to invite for a nice cooked breakfast. the caffe is opened three weeks ago and all renovated to a beautiful standard, very courteous, good menu, nice eating. call them definately back to breakfast"

Great friendly 5-star service. Kindly agreed to a preorder before their normal opening time. The bacon butties were delicious and went down a treat with the clients we visited yesterday. Thanks again

A really nice place where you can come and eat and is dog friendly so you can have a walk in the park and then come for food. My husband loves their bacon toasted sandwich. The only downside is service is a bit slow.

a great place, beautiful coffee, cake, eating, ice cream the staff are excellent, even if under so much pressure on these sunny days. only something lacks is alcohol license to have a nice ice cold beer after going the dog. may not recommend.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
