Have been wanting to eat here for a while, enjoyed every second!. Music and atmosphere great, drink choice plentiful (recommend a rum board). Food was absolutely fantastic. Ackee and saltfish knocked it out of the park!

I drove so often past this place and wanted to try the fact, it is only open Friday and saturdat makes it harder. eating is excellent and good quality, it is not cheap, but not massive over price too. it was. pretty quiet when we were her so little atmosphere.

for three nets plus a food for my child (hence nuggets rice and baptize in the ground birds eye-dipping.) good very sub standard, overpriced and the hawn was dryer than a shoe sole . lady over the phone. when I raised my problems, was both rude, evil and not helpful. never again

Lovely restaurant. Diane The manageress was really good with responding to questions and welcoming. Very good service from the staff. Food was lovely especially the coconut ice cream! I did feel the curry was quite pricey but everything else was great and food very tasty....Would go again and recommend. Ver carta

I would recommend Calypso 100%. Food was amazing and staff really friendly. Great choice of drinks as well especially Rum selection. When we moved from London to Southend I really missed West Indian food but having discovered Calypso that won’t be a problem anymore. Portion...sizes good and again just tasted amazing.

Just had the best Caribbean meal, outside of the Caribbean , as my birthday treat. Started with Ackee and Saltfish ,which included a Bake on the side. Followed by rice and peas ,coleslaw and best of all , the best Chicken Roti i have had...outside of Barbados . Could not fit in a pudding ,so will have to go back asap to remedy that.

this restaurant never surprises us! time after the time is eating out of this world. fantastic atmosphere, great service and cleanliness is always of greatest importance. rupert, diane, leon and the team always feel welcome and. part of the family. we presented this restaurant with friends and other family members and they were never disappointed. very child-friendly too. our last visit on Saturday was for the birthday of my man and they made it especially for him. highly recommended!
