Campanile Auxerre - Carta

I've been to a few Hero Burger chain's and I found myself to liking only this location.

This location is on the corner of a busy intersectionAt least the interior was clean and modern.

no many people in the restaurant.... furniture ; dejavu food ; simple without plus atmosfere ; eat pay and go Ver carta

Clean with modern deco but lack charm and was noisy (Reception, plus small bar area all in same area as restaurant) Food was bland although well presented, felt more like a fast food restaurant, service matter of fact, Disappointing and not what we would expect from Campanile

I have always found the menus will have something for everyone.Prices are reasonable. The location means no long walk to find a restaurant after a long days drive.This time we both opted for the salad bar and cheese & dessert menu. The salad bar was fresh and a good selection. 4 types of cheese and plenty of choice of desserts, including fresh fruit.Staff were friendly. Ver carta

Stayed at a nearby budget hotel and ate here as a discount was offered.After a long journey we arrived at 8:50. The staff didn't seem too pleased by our arrival time even though the restaurant isn't supposed to close until 10pm. Buffet of appetisers had very little left so was very poor value at more than 10 euro. Main course (Paupiette of Veal and fries, no veg) poorly presented, very small and poor value. By 9:30 the staff were clearing up around us and seemed keen to get rid of us. I have stayed at and eaten at Campanile hotels many times in the past but not for a few years. I doubt I'll be back unless there is no other alternative.

Les parties communes étaient également négligées et manquaient cruellement de propreté. Malheureusement, le manque d’entretien était évident dans tous les aspects de l’hôtel. Je ne recommanderais certainement pas cet endroit à quiconque cherche un séjour agréable et propre.” Je n’en veux pas au personnel qui subit un hôtel laissé à l’abandon . À vous Mr le directeur du Campagnile comment pouvez vous laisser votre établissement dans cet état

Well... expected better.Its an all you can eat starter so fill up with as much as you can eat, we stayed at a local budget hotel on the way South, and like others wandered in to this restaurant, we needed food.Not many people in so no atmosphere, eat pay go.Main meal options a little confusing, and a strange taste to the beef, avoid the beef I would say.Fish looked ok, although it was described as salmon, it was nothing like any salmon I know.Decided that we would find somewhere else to eat on the way back home.The starter food was the best choice and can't fault that part of the meal.Overall expensive nearly 100 Euro's for three people and we didn't have expensive drinks, in fact one glass...
