The staff were very polite, helpful and kind. The food was so tasty, the roast duck with rice was amazing, certainly will eat it again. The price was set to a good budget. Definitely will come here again!

Chose this restaurant as busy and a place where you looked likely to get served quickly. Nothing fancy about the restaurant but the food was plentiful albeit a little expensive. If you are in hurry, then this is the place! Includes a service charge which is becoming the norm everywhere. Ver carta

Went there with 3 friends and all of us were disappointed to say the least. The roast pork (char siu) was very tough and inedible it was definitely not freshly made and was just reheated. The roast duck was fatty and the wonton soup was greasy. To top that, the table stank of wet rang and the whole restaurant looked unclean. With so many restaurants to choose from, do not bother going to this one!

kanton is a beautiful place with a wide range on the menu and affordable prices, with netzen cost between everyone. we ordered a bbq meat and rice plate, mapo tofu and wonton nudelsuppe with tee for service was polite and our orders came out quickly, and the eating was nice, although the tofu had a light tomat taste. Tea refills were offered and we were able to get away without problems; would definitely visit again if in the opposite.

this place, except the brattaube, is terrible. the rösttaube is the only economical gnade and it was quite delicious. all the other ordered dishes were not authentic at all fried tofu was muddy instead of crispy and the conserved sweet pork was nothing like the actual dish, that was the worst version I ever tasted, tasted like someone from a whole haufen to char siu sauce and some preserved vegetables to make a touching frit. dreadful! would never visit again, but give them one as the duck was good Ver carta

I went there last night with my friend for some dim sum. I asked twice the man who serve us if they freshly made, he said yes. Well they not, dim sum they serve are frozen and not even made there you can get exactly the same from supermarket. I know I because I buy them.So I payed £62 for dinner which can cost me £3.50 if I get from supermarket. They try to convince me Im wrong but I even told them the brand they using so finally they admitted the dim sum is frozen and I'm right. Never again go to chines restaurant for dim sum as long they not making front of me. RIP Canton.

Went in today to get pork and duck with rice takeout. Was the the worst chinese food I have ever had. Very full container of rice with very small pieces of meat, no gravy and awful taste. I have been buying food from that place since 1982 under the old proprietors. They were very good. But today I have had a very bad experience and would recommend another establishment as this one, in my opinion, is the pits. I do hope that the Trading standards people pay them a visit. Also they keep you waiting outside so that you are unable to see what's going on, cpmpared to the last proprietors Folks, be aware. You have been told. ps. I live about twenty miles away.

In Chinatown with literally dozens of restaurants, how do you chose one? My decision was to look for one with roasted ducks hanging in the window. Canton may not have the best food in Chinatown, but it sure worked for a quick lunch. Our waiter informed us there were two types of duck on the menu: a crispy duck served with hoisin sauce and pancakes: and the simple chopped roasted duck in the window/ Our 1/4 duck roast duck was a delicious choice. My sweetheart ordered a nostalgic choice of 'shrimp toast ' that she hadn 't seen on a menu for years. It was a blast from the past in a restaurant that has been here since 1955.
