Visited the restaurant. Staff very attentive and polite. Food delicious. Full of flavour. Staff checked between courses as to when ready for next course. Excellent menu for both food and drinks. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch. Took family for lunch here. Lovely, plentiful tasty good. Great service. Will definitely visit again. Seemed such a shame that despite great value the restaurant was quiet. Would be great if more folk supported local business.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. All of our meals arrived promptly and were hot and delicious. I highly recommend it for those seeking excellent customer service, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be returning in the future! Ver carta

Ordered food 31st Dec, stated delivered on just eat app food never came! Restaurant has not given me a refund after two emails and 3 x calls! Customer service is appalling and manager seams unbothered and I’, m still £17.95 down. Very unhelpful and terrible service

The dining experience at Kingsthorpe's Indian Jewel is always perfect. The staff are talented and professional, and the food is out of this world. The dishes are beautifully presented, delicious, and perfectly cooked. In my opinion, Kingsthorpe's Indian Jewel is the best.

Very disappointed. Starter on sheek kebab wasn’t cooked, still pink inside. Chicken sag was far to dry…..not much sauce, chicken masala was too dry overcooked. Wrong Nan sent, forgotten poppodoms. Very disappointed as we have used this service for years, and always excellent. Ver carta

Disgusting, lots of small fruit flies in the dining area which was quite off putting when eating. The flies ended up in our meals meaning we left a lot of it. Many other guests experienced the same issue. Mentioned this on the way out, staff not bothered. Maybe they will do something about this when people no longer come to eat here.

We have family who live near Cardamon and rave about it. While visiting we decided to follow their recommendation and visit.The menu offers some traditional dishes but also some that may be unique to their chef. We'd decided pretty quickly what we wanted to eat. However it took nearly 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order we had considered going elsewhere for our meal. Not sure whether they were short staffed but the service was slow all evening.When the food arrived we were more than happy presentation was first class and a decent portion of food. I usually have a fantastic meal/takeaway here however, tonight was absolutely terrible!! I asked if the food was being cooked from fresh to be told yes. I was NOT told that the waiter was cooking it!!! I ordered a chicken Dhansak to receive a watered down curry sauce that tasted of tomato and no lentil in sight and the three massive chicken chunks were over cooked and dry! The pilau rice was white and although cooked correctly tasted of NOTHING ! I have complimented this restaurant to my friends/family but will not do so again. I telephoned and asked for a full refund and await the response. It is with great shame that I declare this place as RUBBISH! Please employ cooks/chefs and do not ask... Ver carta
