Great food at reasonable prices. Big meals so make sure you are hungry when you go. Seats are quite close together. Place is normally packed. Was lucky to seat in the corner this time. Other times I have given up because very busy.

My husband and I we went there to ask if they are still open to have a quick drink after a nice walk to the park, I'm heavily pregnant and i was really in need of a cold drink! The lady was very rude, she barely even make eye contact. I will never step a foot in such a place with such attitude people!

Without a doubt, this cafe in Barnet is the best! The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff are incredibly kind. The portions are generous and the coffee is fantastic. I can't wait to try out the new items on the menu, but in the meantime, I highly recommend their festive burger with extra turkey and stuffing, served with a side of gravy. It's delicious! Ver carta

Today I went to Carpe Diem for lunch, and it was absolutely worth the wait for a table. The food is very good, £5.50 for a plain Omelette with Chips was great and the portion size too. The staff are absolutely lovely and ever so welcoming. A very nice atmosphere inside and the decor is outstanding. Without a doubt, the best cafe in Whetstone High Street and a very good selection of food!

Our little gem in whetstone. One thing going into a restaurant and another when every single staff member makes you feel like you are part of the family. How lucky we are to have this magical little restaurant. The food, the ambience. All is made with love and passion. Guys never change. We love you, the Calamari and The Steak. My first visit , weekday lunch and it was busy . The bistro is not big but the food was delicious ! My prawn risotto was flavoursome , rich and the prawns were fresh and juicy . Fresh orange juice was refreshing . My friends chicken salad was also v tasty . Food portion was so generous that I had to take away the left over risotto and my hubby also enjoyed it too! Highly recommend and definitely can’t wait to go back ! Can’t find parking space outside the bistro but we parked in the m and s nearby also went in to do shopping . Ver carta
