Busy, but got a table, ordered on the app. Food and drinks were delivered quickly, food was hot and very good! Ordered desserts and some again, quick service and delivery.

I wish all pubs had a cheerful and accommodating staff like the Carr Mill. They are a credit to the younger generation. They go above and beyond to ensure your night is enjoyable. Ver carta

Came in today with a friend for her birthday Food was lovely service with a smile from Helena or Elenor didn’t catch her name properly. Need more staff in here like her She was friendly chatty and very helpful nothing was to much trouble for her.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a birthday party meal. There were 6 people in our group and we were impressed with how quickly our food was served. The dishes were piping hot and cooked to perfection. The staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning again in the future.

We went for lunch and opted for the Golden Years menu, which was such a great deal. We enjoyed two courses for £4.99 each, starting with fish, chips, and mushy peas, followed by vanilla ice cream. The dishes were presented and cooked excellently. While the Golden Years menu was not extensive, it was still good. The portion size was generous and very satisfying. Awful from start to finish. The table we were directed to was sticky and dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Then we noticed containers by us to catch water coming from the ceiling which was in a poor state. We moved ourselves to another table. No ribeye steaks available so we had sirloin, they would have been better coming with a hacksaw they were so tough and full of gristle. This has to rate as one of the worst pubs we have ever been in.

We have just had our family members funeral at the carr mill and we had second to none five star service , we cannot fault the staff they are amazing so attentive and courteous , the buffet was fabulous everyone commented how fresh the food was and more than enough for everyone thankyou to your kitchen team kaz Anna and heather for yet again another amazing job . We wouldn’t go anywhere else Pete and his team always do such an amazing job and our family think very highly of this public house .

Saturday night 30th sept. had a decent night was my mums birthday. good singer on doing Britpop. we really enjoyed the night. we have been going in the pub for a good few months as we know people in there, really like the pub but only been in through the week only. this was the however was the first saturday we ventured in and oh dear about ten minutes before we left the pub. i was chatting and having a laugh with a table near us (we was in the dining side where the artists/karaoke would be when i heard the group on the back wall long bench calling me a weirdo.. i of course went over, only to clock they was filming me to mock online. so i got my camera out and filmed them back, they really d...
