Great night, wine tasting, 7 courses/7 wines. Service atmosphere was excellent, food wine perfect! Highly recommend a visit.

Visited with friends on a Friday lunch time. Food was excellent and with a very reasonable lunch menu, service was very friendly, and we were told there are evening taster events coming up as well. Lovely! Ver carta

I came here on Father's day with 3 generations of family. Our host Lello was fantastic. He really looked after us and even made us his special stash of pasta. Beautiful food lovely people. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Went for a birthday celebration, we were put upstairs which felt like you were in a spare room as decor not very good and no atmosphere, we were a party of 6 and two of the meals were forgotten, the waitress said it was her fault as she hadn’t wrote them down she repeated our order to us so this wasn’t correct, no compensation was offered for their mistake, food very average, will not be returning

We went to Casa Mia last night as a treat as it was our wedding anniversary of 15years. We will not be returning the meal was ok but for what it cost there was hardly anything there especially vegetables it was very sparse in fact hardly there there was more salad than anything else. Then the owner/manager came out shouting at the staff in front of us as we were sat in the front by the bar. Very unprofessional. Also my husband was sick all night after eating there so I would avoid at all costs. Ver carta

On our last visit, we signed up for the wine tasting and tapas evening. Last night was the night! This morning, feeling the effects of said event, I can only say what a great evening we had! Seven wines, seven small plates and excellent company led to a rather inebriated bus ride home. Lello, ever effusive, provided us with some amazing dishes, and his guest sommelier told us all about the wines. Not small glassfuls but at least 125ml each! Dish after dish of great quality including pasta, risotto, slow cooked beef shin, pate…. We met some lovely people too.

We visited on the spur of the moment early on a Tuesday evening. We were greeted by ‘Lello’ who is the owner/manager. The restaurant is nicely decorated and furnished, and the owner and chef are both Italian. There’s no specials board as such but we were given a list verbally and would have chosen any of the items! We settled on the focaccia with cheese to start with a pizza sized garlic bread which was fresh and delicious. Off the specials, husband had the haddock wrapped in Parma ham, with lemon and vegetables. Let’s just say there was nothing left on his plate! Dined here this evening hoping it would be good as we had read some excellent reviews on TA. Ordered garlic and cheese focaccia (actually was more like garlic and barely bread) asked for it to be crispy, ended up cremated, but actually unlike me didn’t make a fuss as it was the eve of my birthday so just ate the edges. My partner seemed to enjoy his fish stew. I opted for the chicken, mushroom and nduja risotto. I asked the waitress what it was and she said it was like salami, what she neglected to tell me was that it was packed with chilli and nearly blew my shirt off.
