We went to Casalot on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, we struggled with the menu as they did not have an English version but the staff did their best to help us. I have never tasted food quite like it, the taste and flavours were amazing.

On vacation in Berlin from Washington, DC/Arlington, VA, we decided to eat a little lighter fare. Best Middle Eastern restaurant I've had. Gourmet quality dishes (w/ ample use of pomegranate seed), aesthetic presentations and great wait staff. Who could ask for anything more?

So the food and the service were okay. but if you open the entry here on opentable, you will be pointed out to the details about safety measures because you think very nice. but if you go to the restaurant and see nothing of it being adhered to, you should actually go back. but we looked at it: the service staff has either no mask or only half-heartedly worn. our menu was given directly to the next table without wiping off. between the tables there was hardly any distance. the disinfectant on the toilets only acted against bacteria and mushrooms but not against viren (coronavirus) tables were very flewy when the foods have gone. we are not going back here.
