"Judging by previous reviews, I guess we must have caught Tinchite on an off day. We'd booked, but the place seemed empty when we arrived, and the waiter when he finally appeared surprised by our presence. Apart from the caponata, which was delicious, nothing else that we ordered tasted fresh. We struggled to get the king prawns four for 25 euros, no sides out of their shells. The mixed grilled vegetables were burned and rubbery, in fact virtually inedible, and the octopus salad was bland all octopus and no salad. I can't remember the last time we left so much restaurant food uneaten, which is a terribly wasteful thing to do. But it just didn't taste good, which for 105 euros for two (including a nice but not amazing bottle of wine) shouldn't happen."

"very characteristic location with an important and majestic view. I would say great food with a note of favor for the cannole (revisited) but that, my parer, represents the best ever tasted being lighter and digestible (after two courses eat a classic cannole we say it becomes challenging. ) another note of merit the ready service of the director of the room that at my request is able to cook more the patcchero (result a little too much response to the tooth.) as they say. the desire of the customer (if you ask kindly) must always be answered. - I'll conclude. I heard a lot of house in this restaurant and I was very good. testify to the fact that my partner and I were one of the first tables to sit and the last to stand. I know where to go."

"Ogni volta che vado ad Erice non posso non fermarmi a gustare l'ottima e deliziosa cucina del Ristorante Monte San Giuliano. La qualità del cibo è davvero superlativa, il personale molto attento e preparato. Sia il menù mare che terra godono di primi piatti davvero pieni di sapori mediterranei. I vari antipasti della casa sono super consigliati. Per i secondi lasciatevi consigliare dal personale. Davvero bravi. Ho già riprenotato per la prossima domenica."

"great discovery in the heart of erice! date of the visit the restaurant the pot has definitely met our expectations. we were looking for a place to eat during our erice trip and our attention fell on this place. the absolutely attractive location leads us to a small room composed of different rooms. rustic appearance but not too much. net of the culinary experience I must say that every single dish ordered exceeded every expectation and turned out to be a real surprise for the palate. mixed bruschetta appetizers in Sicilian, mixed cutter of meats and cheeses, rustic carrettiere appetizer,) especially bruschettes, really good and noteworthy if it was not that in the digital menu some ingredients were different from the final dish. the first barracks in the herricina, the Trapani pesto, paccheri di granna Lucia)a dir little superlativi especially the paccheri di granna lucia. also on the second vitellina panata alla palermitana, cut of veal with rocket cherry and grana, pistachio alla lupara, involtini di carne alla siciliana) the panccia did not save us a triumph of flavors. baked potatoes) instead left a little time they found. the potatoes were perhaps too cooked and enough back of salt. good instead once again the sweets( cassatelle with ricotta, tortini with the warm heart of chocolate, tortino with the warm heart of pistachio). all in all a culinary experience to be remade and certainly worthy of note at the price of about per person included bottle of water and liter of wine of the house. only painful note a somewhat swinging service and not particularly attentive to the customer. for the rest really congratulations to all!"
