This cafe offers a diverse selection of fresh food that can easily be made vegan. The location is fantastic and the music and staff are great. I highly recommend paying a visit to this cafe.

I had a delicious lentil tabbouleh salad with roasted seasonal vegetables (fennel and snap peas) topped with an almond and lemon dressing at this restaurant. They typically serve it with halloumi, but the staff kindly offered to swap it out for fried mushrooms. The vegan cake options were plentiful, and we enjoyed ginger, chocolate chip, and miso cookies. Our waitress was very helpful in finding vegan wine options, and my husband and son enjoyed the house-made cola. Booking online is simple and highly recommended.

I’ve been to Cast cafe four times in the past three weeks (a tad obsessed at this point) and I can safely say it’s my new favourite place to eat and drink! The food has always been excellent and the coffee is an absolute delight, plus the staff are always welcoming and friendly too. I invited some friends down with me the last few times and now they’re waxing lyrical too. All in all a really cool little place, looking forward to our next visit for poached eggs and chorizo! The atmosphere of the restaurant, both inside and outside, is very pleasant with a beautiful garden. The amenities are good, including a spotless disabled toilet. The restaurant is clean and has character. However, the main drawback is the limited menu with limited food options. The food offered is fresh, locally produced, and good quality, but there is not much choice and no flexibility for variations. The breakfast menu, while cooked well and nicely presented, lacks options such as porridge, croissants, or a variety of sandwiches. The prices are high and the homemade cakes are disappointing.
