"Once one gets beyond the restaurant's naming crisis—"Thai Street Kitchen" seems to be the alternative name to "cha cha - positive eating"—both the food and the experience were superb. We reserved ahead, an Eastern European colleague with family and my own, and we wanted a place both with good food and the possibility of carrying on a conversation. The restaurant was immaculate, The glass panels facing Freidrichstrasse opened in the evening to give the appearance of al fresco dining without the hassle of being on the street. We had one of three tables for six next to the wall, giving us more quiet, and there were other tables in the interior. The menu was primarily in German, but with succinct descriptions in English. None of us were experts in Thai food, but the waiter gave us explanations when needed. Some of the dishes were predictable, such as spring rolls with or without meat. Others were delicious vegetarian curries prepared especially for the summer. The prices were reasonable, including for the wines. Service was prompt and the waiter enabled us to share dishes. This is another restaurant to which I would happily return."
