"On the downside, the prices are quite high, which I anticipated given the location. However, I think £21 for a starter platter is rather excessive (as shown in the second photo). The menu is also somewhat limited. I had reviewed photos of the menu before my visit, but I was surprised to find the vegetarian options were quite restricted. Nonetheless, I was still able to find something to eat. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. It felt like the waitstaff were intentionally avoiding our table when we tried to place our order; we had to call them over at least 7 or 8 times before they acknowledged us. Additionally, the tables were quite small—at least the one at which we were seated. You would expect dining tables to be larger, especially since people tend to order quite a bit of food. We found ourselves constantly rearranging things to make enough space to eat. Overall, while it's a lovely venue with a fantastic view, I feel it’s somewhat overhyped considering the actual quality of the food and service."

The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing! Each dish is priced between £8 and £12, which is quite reasonable for London!

I was only in Kingston for the day, but if I lived here, I would certainly make it a priority to eat at this restaurant at least once a week!

The location was nice, but unfortunately, our waiter brought us the wrong dish and took quite a long time to serve us. In the end, we ended up spending a fair amount, but it just wasn't worth it. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 4.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delightful. We hosted a birthday party for 10 people, and everything went smoothly! We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely return.

The waiter at this restaurant was very rude to the customers. He should think carefully about what he says, as once it's said, it can't be taken back. We arrived feeling quite hungry, but after hearing his comments, we decided to leave without ordering. It's important to note that all customers, including us, were paying patrons and no one was looking for free food. Service: 1.

I’ve heard fantastic things about Indian cuisine in London, and Chakra definitely lived up to the expectations! The location is superb, and the food is outstanding while still being reasonably priced. Our group of eight shared a variety of appetizers: Paneer Tikka, Gobi Manchurian, Dahi Kebab, Chicken Tikka, and Palak Chaat. All the appetizers were tasty, though the portion sizes were a bit small, so I’d recommend ordering at least one per person. We particularly enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian and ended up getting a second plate of it. For our main courses, we shared Butter Paneer, Saag Paneer, and Chakra Daal, along with Garlic Naan. Each curry was full of flavor, and the spice level was quite...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
