"Pros: amazing view, we went during the daytime and I can only imagine at night it must be beautiful as the resteraunt is overlooking the Thames Food was good, I wouldn't say amazing as some things were mediocre at best but other items were good (the paneer dishes especially) Cons: This isn't exactly a downside as I expected this, but the food is very expensive. I imagine this is because of the location but I think £21 for the starter platter is a little ridiculous (see second photo) The menu is quite limited. I did look at photos beforehand of the menu, but when we went there it was actually quite limited with there being limited options to choose from as a vegetarian. That being said, it was still manageable Service was bad. It felt like the waiters were purposely avoiding coming to our table to take our order and we had to call them at least 7/8 times for them to notice Tables are small. At least the one we sat at You would expect dining tables to be large as everyone would order quite a lot of food but unfortunately there was barely any space and we kept having to move things around to make space to eat. Overall, nice place, but overhyped for the standard at which it actually is."

Nice serve and food is delicious! The price is around £8-12 for each dish which is pretty nice in London!

Authentic and Delicious Indian cuisine. Being an Indian, I have tried different “Indian” restaurants in Kingston also in London, but this is really authentic. Decor really good, If you want to sit outside… beautiful River view…. One of my favourite places ….

Visited this wonderful establishment for dinner, it was a real treat and 2 thumbs up for the food quality, taste and quantity. I simply loved the wine range they got. I was served by Sanvi and it was her first day, but she seemed very professional, courteous and efficient at servicing us. Thank you Sanvi you were great.

The view is amazing and the vibes are really good. The walk down the river side and specially on summer eve is delightful. I really like the humbleness of the staff that work here. The food however I have mixed opinion as few of the were really good and few was just average. Must try is Chicken 65 dry and veg Manchurian dry, it was so delicious both if it. It is little expensive but worth the money, I would really recommend it.

I’ve heard great things about Indian cuisine in London and Chakra definitely did not disappoint! Great location and amazing food for a very reasonable price. My group of 8 shared Paneer Tikka, Gobi Manchurian, Dahi Kebab, Chicken Tikka and Palak Chaat. The appetizers all tasted delicious but the portion sizes were on the smaller side so I’d recommend getting at least one appetizer per person. We loved the Gobi Manchurian the most and ended up ordering another plate of it. For the main course, we shared Butter Paneer, Saag Paneer, and the Chakra Daal with a side of Garlic Naan. All 3 curries were very flavorful and the spice level was pretty mild!

Incredible food, from starters to mains. Didn't order desserts because we were so full! Service is great, but that's because we came for lunch on a Monday afternoon, so it was empty. Waiter gave great focus to our needs. The restaurant was very good looking, tables were strong marble. Decorations outside and at the bar area were few but clean. Went for Goat Croquettes as starters. Mains to share were Signature Chicken Stew, Black Dhaal, Lamb Biryani and Peshwari Naan. Portions were excellent! Mocktails were great tasting. I would suggest improving the presentations, maybe small decoratives on top, more interesting glasses. Would match the presentation of the food better. Was only at Kingston...

Let’s get the negative out of the way first… restaurant was not very busy but service was extremely slow. I also understand that restaurant management/owners want to drum up business and encourage guests to visit, but one gentleman was a bit too pushy and naggy to any guests that paused at the restaurant menu. Definitely would have been a turn off if we weren’t craving Indian food. Now to the meal. A bit pricey but delicious butter chicken, garlic naan, and rice. Unfortunately the rice did not come as part of the butter chicken entree order, which was a surprising charge on the receipt. The butter chicken was flavorful, though not much meat was provided. The naan was crispy, buttery, with th...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
