Chan's Takeaway - Carta

The girl who served me was incredibly polite seeing as she was quite young. The food was great and they fill the containers up very well. I would recommend the smoked chicken. I would recommend this takeaway!

my family loved this, the chicken was perfect and cooked very well and it all tasted delicious, im vegetarian and this served me very well, and the girl on the phone was very well mannered and kind when taking our order.

Whenever we order from this takeaway we are always happy. They deliver locally and the food always arrives within the quoted timescales. We really enjoy their sweet and sour chicken with chicken fried rice. Spot on, every time. Ver carta

As far as Chinese takeaways go, this one was fine. Ordered online for a later pick up, which worked well. Chow main good, sweet and sour chicken (Hong Kong style) good, beef with pepper and black bean sauce ok but lacked flavour. Will use again.

The food at this restaurant is great overall, but the chips were unfortunately stale. The delivery service was extremely fast, but it would be more convenient if they accepted card payments in addition to cash. This change could potentially attract more customers as well.

We had heard great things about Chans, despite it not being in our local area and a 15-minute drive away. However, after giving it a try, we were thoroughly disappointed. The curry and beef in black bean sauce were watered down and lacked flavor, with multiple pieces of gristle in the meat. The chips and prawn crackers were stale. After hearing mixed reviews about Chan's, we finally decided to try it out after nearly two years of living in the area. Ordering online and picking up our food was a breeze, with generous portion sizes that left us with leftovers. The prawn crackers were a standout, with enough in one bag for three people. Every dish was well-cooked and flavorful. I regret not trying Chan's sooner, but I will definitely be a regular customer moving forward.

We have been using chans for over 10 years. Recently we had hairs in our batter and in the scallops with cashew nuts. We was promised 50%off next order yet gave us £5 off maximum The order was again recieved wrong, rather than the customer is always right, they argued with me and my family on the phone. We have remained loyal to you. But due to the hairs, false promise of resolve and the allergies specified. allergy to prawns my order contained this and I was spoken to rudely After 10 years plus. Me and my family will be taking our business elsewhere unfortunately

I have been using CHANS for a number of years and have always enjoyed their food, unfortunately standards have appeared to have slipped in my recent experience. I ordered a delivery service and it arrived half hour later than told, spare ribs were terrible as mostly bone and fat and very chewy, duck in plum sauce was tasty but duck almost raw still, chicken with garlic and spring onion again was ok but the chicken balls were stale and cold, chips again were stale looking and cold, in fact all the dishes were lukewarm, very disappointing and not sure if they have recently changed the chefs or just let things slip. Will be a long while before we try this place again, such a shame as was so goo... Ver carta
