Good Food in a nice atmosphere with a good location, friendly staff.

Lovely food and friendly service (a bit too friendly as kept coming to the table) would recommend to all though

Food was okay but service was rushed. The place had a forlorn feel about, inevitable I suppose as it is soon to close! Ver carta

A friendly restaurant with lovely outside seating onto the heath. Food was lovely with good wine that can be served in carafes for sharing at lunch.

All made to feel so welcome every time time we go haven't been in a few months due to a new born but they were so acomadating even with a new born baby . Will be back very soon

We haven't been to chapters in a while and the steak never fails to disappoint. I did notice there were no linen napkins that I have used in the past only paper napkins which was a little disapointing with the price being paid for a meal Ver carta

The food lacked seasoning and i have eaten better and cheaper elsewhere. On the whole i would go again but not have the steak. The table i booked was supposedly ours for hours per the booking. There were of us. We had an main and dessert each. However we were there for nearly hours. That's very slow service. Plus despite being told something wouldn't appear on our bill, it did.

Nice food, had reserved a table but were seated downstairs which I had assumed wouldn't be the case (but I had not asked). I wouldn't recommend for families with children. The restaurant staff seated a family with a toddler and baby and then complained when the baby was making noise, saying it wasn't appropriate for a Friday evening and the father was obliged to take the baby outside yet his food arrived whilst he was outside trying to get the baby to sleep. Why seat them if that is the attitude to children. Others in the restaurant were giving them disgusted looks too, clearly not expecting children to be in the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to Chapters for dinner to celebrate his birthday as Chapters was, we thought, the only decent restaurant left in Blackheath. All the others seem to be sliding downhill rapidly. We have been to Chapters many times in the past and the food and service has been good We did not have a starter and ordered a main meal only (black bream and pork belly) as we weren't hugely hungry due to eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! We had a glass of wine and were offered a piece a of bread. minutes later we were still waiting for our food. In that time no one came to ask if we were OK or to offer us more drinks. I asked the manager when our food might be ready. He said it would be... Ver carta
