Good spoons well equipped with dance floor upstairs and roof terrace

I do not recommend this restaurant; the service is terrible and the staff is extremely rude.

Awful- food had been standing around for a while before served to us — I think my friend had the lucky escape as they forgot to serve her her meal !!!!!!!

We had to wait 50 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived it was cold. We asked for a refund and received it, but the whole experience was a joke.

Quality of food was standard for a weatherspoons as well as prices for food and drink. Atmosphere again, was standard for a weatherspoons however seemed to be a few locals propping up the bar now and again. Spread over a few floors with outside terrace however smokers must smoke on the street out front where there are no ashtrays. Not a welcoming site upon arrival

It use to be a nice friendly play to go with family but under a mew manager gow was rude and arrogant the friendly staff that use to greet you are not there enymore shame could have been so much more than the sham it has become its disgusting how the manager Craig speaks to i customers and bitching about staff then getting rid of them for not being in his delusional little bubble

This is a cozy (ish) Spoons where the food can be a bit hit and miss sometimes .. but it's generally pretty good. The pub does have an open fire, plenty of seating (with a large upstairs seating area) .. there is some outside seating but we have never sat there as we are not smokers. Like all Wetherspoons it can get very busy due to its location in Exeter so sometimes it might be worth walking down to George's Meeting Room. The drinks are a bargain though with all you can stomach coffee/tea/hot chocolate.

This place sucks. I was outside having a vape, and I saw a barman taking my drink off the table. I went inside, to try and save it, but I got told You left it, you loose it I agree with all the negative reviews on here, it 's a horrible place, with the most unfriendly doormen you 'd ever meet. A couple of weeks ago, they wouldn 't even let me go in to change my baby. It 's past 6pm, so They 're is no one under 16 allowed It was 18:15, and all I wanted to do was change my babies nappy, but they wouldn 't let me. It 's A horrible place. Avoid like the plague.

Unfortunately, while bringing my 80-year-old mother to this restaurant, I don't think I can convince her of the value for money that Wetherspoons is known for. Since we are on a tight budget, we chose this restaurant because she wanted to treat me. We sat at three different tables, all of which were sticky and had food debris on them. The carpet was also sticky. When I went to the bar, I leaned over as the staff were chatting, hoping to get some service, but instead I ended up getting covered in beer. At that point, I decided that we should leave and eat somewhere else. I have worked in the industry for over 30 years and am not one to complain, but cleanliness is always a top priority for me...
