It is pleasant to sit outdoors. As it is sheltered from wind, you can sit outside quite early. Unfortunately, it often takes ages until you can order. And again ages until you get what you've ordered. The food is OK, do not expect something amazing.

We are Scottish and have the best products in the world, so I think you can trust our review of food here. We'll come back every time we get to Constance. Fresh ingredients are beautifully cooked. Breakfast is also a must!! Excellent prices for excellent food.

If you ever go to Constance then visit Chez Leon restaurant and try the delicious dish of spaghetti with muscles and prawn they serve there. The white sauce is out of this world and order a bottle of Grauburgunder white wine to go with it, you will love it...!

Have visited several times. Great place to sit outside on a beautiful day for afternoon drinks. They also have a great breakfast with coffee and juice and is a perfect place in the center for a sunny summer morning. Also has a nice interior for the colder weather!

My girlfriend and I had a Margherita Pizza and a simple green salad. The food was delicious and everything was perfect until we wanted to pay our bill. We hadn't seen our waiter in about 20 mins, we waited another 30 mins after finishing our meal and still no server... he vanished!

Flammkucken and Pizza, selected a Pizza from a picture in the Menu and was informed it was just a library picture not there Food. The Capricciosa pizza was tasty but the pickled chilli's that you get from a cheap kebab shop let it down. Beer was nice. Service was the main let down nearly walked out.

During our last short trip to Konstanz we found this restaurant by chance, which is at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. The weather allowed us to sit outside, but the restaurant also offers tables inside. We had a very friendly waiter who was watching all the time, joking with our children and creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was great. We had octopus with potatoes and a lasagna with veal along with a very beautiful Italian Pinot Grigio. The kids enjoyed a pizza best pizza ever a flame cake. Can recommend this place.

Chez Leon is a lovely restaurant, especially in the summer when one can sit outside and enjoy the weather.Great selection of dishes (and special menu different every day), prices really good too!The first time I have ordered a salad with turkey- it was fresh, delicious and rich!Another time I went for the menu (salad as a starter and turkey with cream and courgette sauce - great price €8,40) the food was again very tasty and nicely presented (the main course a bit too greasy unfortunately, everything swimming in butter- but really tasty with garlic and parsley).Overall really nice experience!The only drawback: service EXTREMELY SLOW

Normally I would not order pasta at a French or German restaurant . But my favorite Italian restaurant in Konstanz was closed and I was in the mood for Italian food-- spaghetti in particular, which I think of as "comfort food." . One way I judge how good the Italian food is at a restaurant is to order spaghetti al carbone. If the pancetta is all fat and gristle that's a no no; and if the sauce is really heavy and cloying, that's another no no; with overcooked pasta the worst sin of all.This was a quite good example of the dish--not the very best I have ever had, but better than the last two versions I have eaten in Germany and Switzerland.
