"A funny little restaurant where it feels you ar eating in the front room of a house not a restaurant.The service was very friendly and our waitress very attentive and keen to take our order in excellent English.We ordered burgers, and what burgers they were! Original ingredients, perfectly cooked, just great. This was one of the best burgers that I've ever tried."

"Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. The food was amazing, beautifuly spiced without being overdone. I had the eggplant salad (divine!), perfectly marinated chicken kebabs, and a lovely green sald with sunflower seeds and a tart dressing. Yum. My friends had the lamb tagine and it was beautifuly prepared and seasoned, arrived at the table piping hot with homemade pita. I was lucky enough to have a taste, and next time that is what I will order (with the eggplant, of course). The desserts were equally fabulous. Lovely sorbets with Mediterranean flavorings, unusual but very tasty and refreshing. All the sorbets were served with a small pastry--one a crunchy version of a sugar cookie, one with dates, and another with sesame seeds. More yum. And I haven't even talked about the wine the owner recommended--went perfectly with the meal--or the nice decor--or how friendly and helpful the owner and cooks were helping us make our choices. And best of all, the price was fair, well below what I am used to paying for a comparable meal in the UK or the USA. Go try it, you'll be glad you did."

"I haven't been eating out in "mid-range" restaurants in Perpignan for a while, due to what I consider to be very poor value for money. I have travelled in France and Europe recently and have found it easier to eat better for the same price even in Paris.I was invited to eat at the Lou Grilladou yesterday, and having eaten there once before (there has been a change in management since) and being happy wih the quality, I was pleased to accept the offer.The 3 course lunch menu for 14 euros, with 2 choices at each course was a good deal by comparison with other restaurants I know here. Furthermore, the portions were on the generous side and the quality indisputable.The restaurant was very busy and the staff very attentive.We were unable to finish the food on our plates, and were pleased that they offered a "gourmet bag" (doggy-bag to you and me) so that we could take our left-overs away."

"Very good restaurant, old address in Perpignan, still as good, nothing to say about the quality of the Tartuffo and funghi pasta, still excellent, however, 17.5€ and a small quantity, fortunately there was bread for sauce. My son took tagliatelle bolognese €13.50, same excellent nothing but luckily there was bread. I understand inflation, the costs linked to the business and of course that it's homemade but still too expensive in relation to the price and quantity, it's not normal. I wanted to say it… have a good day"

"Parfait Des l'arrivée nous avons été accueillis avec le sourire et la bonne humeur par la patronne, le repas s'est déroulé parfaitement bien. La salle est agréable et joliment décorée. Félicitations à la patronne qui gère le service toute seule tout en prenant soin de chaque table de façon conviviale et discrète. (Reconversion très réussie) Quant à la cuisine, on a été agréablement surpris par la qualité et la présentation des plats proposés. En entrée un œuf parfait avec des asperges, une assiette aussi belle que délicieuse puis le plat,un délicieux agneau parfaitement cuit acompagne d'une purée de carottes semoule et une sauce merveilleuse. Quant au dessert, juste parfait, île flottante revisite saveur citron avec une belle pièce en sucre qui rajoute du croustillant. Le tout parfaitement assaisonné du début à la fin, un équilibre de saveurs et textures très bien maîtrise. Si vous voulez passer une agréable soirée et profiter d'une cuisine digne d'un restaurant gastronomique c'est l'adresse qu'il vous faut.. Quand à nous on reviendra avec grand plaisir.
