I always have a wonderful experience here. The food is outstanding. I usually opt for the rice or noodle box, and I find the portions to be quite generous. The staff are genuinely the friendliest. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20.

Good quality food freshly prepared in front of you and excellent, friendly service from everyone. We've been regular customers over the last year and as well as an extensive menu, there's a good choice of Gluten Free options, essential for one of our party of four. We'll be back! Ver carta

Ordered takeout for a group dinner. Disappointing meal overall. Only thing we ordered and enjoyed were the chicken spring rolls. Steak strips were like plain boiled beef. Squid starter had too much batter and was greasy. All main meals were watery and/or bland. Would not order takeout from here again. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Chilli Banana Cheadle Hulme I was really looking forward to my takeaway last night but was disappointed. I ordered Beef Massaman curry; the flavour was spot on but the beef was very chewy and fatty and there were only two small potatoes. The rice was cold too. Expensive for what I got. £170 worth of takeaway ordered. All dishes seemed to be watered down. Spare ribs and prawn pad Thai were good but everything else was terrible. The green curry was fluorescent and didn’t taste right. Massaman like a soup. Noodles that stuck together they were one massive block we had to cut up using a knife. I don’t know what’s changed as normally the food is good. Ver carta

Really poor takeout tonight for 7adults. All the dishes were watery and tasteless. Even the sweet chilli sauce which came with the prawn crackers was watery. The noodles were dry and so stuck together. We’ve eaten here many times before it became just a takeout and are very disappointed. Will not be ordering again. Chilli Banana offers truly incredible food! I tried the sweet corn fritters, pad Thai, and green Thai curry, and everything was outstanding. The pad Thai was the best I've ever had, and the other dishes were equally fantastic. I will definitely be coming back for more! Plus, all the meat is Halal. You have the option to dine in, get takeout, or have it delivered to your office, and they also cater for large events. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful restaurant! We were warmly welcomed by Steve Wakefield, the owner, who made it a point to find us a table on a very busy Saturday night. As it was our first visit, he took the time to explain the menu and made some fantastic recommendations. We loved both the starters and the main dishes. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Thank you, Steve! We’ve already recommended this place to all our local friends, and I’m sure we will return. Ver carta
