Really lovely to be back at chillies, food is outstanding, service is first class, every mouthful is a delicious experience, great menu with lots of diffrent dishes, to what we have in grays, if only we lived nearer, we would be there more often,, Highly recommend

This was the first time visiting Chillies which was on recommendation by other family members. The food was really tasty and there is a wide ranging menu which is a little bit different to most Indian restaurants which makes me want to return soon. Excellent First ever visit and will definitely return and would also like to dine on but we are in lockdown. Very professional, although only takeaway all members of staff were wearing shirt and tie and looked very smart. Phone call to pre order was dealt with efficiently and friendly. Upon arrival to collect I received a friendly welcome. My food was ready. The food was excellent 10/10. Will be my number one 'Go to '

(Daniel Bedingfield) Everybody 's struggling during lockdown, so I 'm making a point of using local independent bars and restaurants rather than national chains. Recently I 've enjoyed meals from Kam and his team at Chillies in South Woodham Ferrers, eat-in, takeaway and delivery. The meals have all been excellent, even ordering 'off menu ' their Chicken Shatkora is great, delivery and collection has always been timely and eat in has been well organised in trying times. I look forward to returning when things get easier.

Everyone has their favourite takeaway they religiously frequent. We can say ours would normally be Chinese. But, we have strayed and could be swayed! Yum. So many distinctive flavours. We find one curry can taste similar to the next but we are very pleasantly surprised. Tried the chefs specials, a range of starters and a few vegetarian dishes and so excited to say we enjoyed our choices. Absolutely going to order more vegetarian dishes in the future even the potatoes some how tasted good and cooked to perfection Really happy with the price and quality, our next takeaway will be Chillies. We have been fans of Chillies for years especially since we moved back to SWF in 2014. In all that time and all our visits we have never had a bad meal. We feel like valued friends whenever we visit as the service is fantastic. There is a wonderful atmosphere and a varied menu .. I love the mango korma, lamb bhuna and chicken tikka biryani ... Hubby loves the tandoori mixed grill, henna's dream, chicken tikka. Many of our friends are also avid fans and regulars. It has become a bit of a new years eve tradition to meet up at chillies for a final Indian meal before welcoming in the new year.

We had an outstanding meal here, the night before complete lockdown! The restaurant was busy as usual, service was outstanding, the waiters were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! We could have chose anywhere but decided on Chillies as we wanted our final meal to be relaxed, and memorable for all the right reasons. The food was served full of flavour and we are still dreaming of the taste now! Longing to come back’ This restaurant closes at 10pm in line with the government rules, at no point did we feel rushed, we actually left the restaurant at 9.58pm, after having the perfect evening! So staff were pretty grumpy, none of them look happy you were there. The worst part about all of it, is that they were in such a rush. The waiter came up to us twice trying to take away the popadoms that we wanted to keep throughout the meal to have with out curries. As it’s the 10pm rule, everything shuts at 10. This means the last person to leave can be/should be 09.59pm. At 9.45pm the man came over saying you need to pay and go, literally took all of our parents considering I could eat more, there was still food left to it. We was near enough pushed out of the restaurant and they made us seem like we were holding them up, therefore next time if you want to push us out at 9.45 put your clo... Ver carta
