"My 9-year-old son ordered a burger that took a long time to come out, but he didn't say anything until he had already eaten half of it. However, the manager replaced his meal at no charge, gave us a 30% discount on our bill, and threw in free chips and guacamole. I was very impressed with the customer service - 5/5 stars for that. The food was delicious, but having moved from San Antonio, Texas to Lincoln, I can't give it the top rating. It didn't quite live up to the authentic Tex-Mex cuisine I was used to. I will definitely be returning and recommending the restaurant to others."

I want to preface this review by saying that none of the food was bad and the service was decent.

The food is really tasty when it's served fresh! I went to this restaurant with a friend last weekend and we ordered a side of spicy rice. Unfortunately, it came out cold and very hard.

"Booked here via email phone didn’t seem to work) because of the reviews and it was great. It’s small, bistro like with a very friendly atmosphere. Brought 2 bottles of own wine. 3 out of 4 drinking so charged corkage £7.50 total) for 3. This was fantastic value. The food was excellent and very filling could not manage a dessert. There is also outside seating which would be good as long as it doesn’t rain. Would definitely return if in Lincoln again."

"Wow! Simply devine. I had bruschetta starter which was amazing and the wild boar ragu also amazing! My partner had the fillet steak and red wine sauce with her starter the prosciutto wrapped around mozzarella! Drinks are a little expensive at £5 for a bottle of lager but food is very reasonably priced. 100% will be back again! "Lovely, clean, light and airy decor with the odd quirky twists. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. Ordered The Ross and was surprised at the size of the meal but were assured that they could arrange for us to take away any leftovers. Served in a timely manner. Food very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money. All staff helpful and approachable. Great relaxed experience and they even had festive toilet paper!"

"We always have a great meal here. Kine is a little bit different to a lot of restaurants around Lincoln. It totally has it 's own style and vibe. The menu is very compact, with just a handful of starters, mains and deserts. But... That is precisely why I like it. Each option (and I have been 3 times now) is well crafted, full of flavour and just a little bit different AND totally accesible. Everything option feels special, but not intimidating. The battered green beans are incredible, the n 'duja mac 'N ' cheese balls are great, the spiced koftas are full of flavour. The vege options are just as appealing and tasty as the meat options, which for me is an excellent reflection on the creativity and talent of the team. The front of house staff are accomodating, charming, polite and fun and the whole vibe has a bit of the je ne sais quoi about it. For a meal out for a couple, or small group who appreciate good honest and interesting food, I would highly recommend it.
