"We arrived to Celle very late and were worried we may not be able to have dinner as many places were closing their kitchens at 10pm. We were however pleasantly surprised to discover that Ricetime still served food. Moreover we were allowed to bring our dog. This was a great start. The staff were extremely polite and communicated with us in an excellent English. They recommend the burger and my wife wasn't disappointed, it was superb! She loved everything about it. The flavours were divine she said. I had the steak which was also delicious. We would definitely eat there next time we're in Celle. I there was another Ricetime in the UK."

"Das Divino ist leider nach dem Besitzerwechsel ( ex La Buca) zu dem geworden, wodurch sich fast alle Restaurants in Celle auszeichnen: Preise wie in einem "richtigen" Restaurant, aber Service, Atmosphäre und Sauberkeit wie in einer Eckkneipe!Leider liegt das Divino an der mit Abstand attraktivsten Stelle in Celle, wenn das Wetter gut ist.......und leider ist das Essen (meist) auch echt lecker!Aber alles andere ist eigentlich absolut inakzeptabel!!!!!Angefangen damit, dass bei top Wetter im 18:00 alle Tische reserviert sind, aber nur 4 Tische tatsächlich besetzt! Und das ist auch km 20:00 noch so! Erst auf energische Nachfrage von uns und weiterer Gäste wird uns ein Tisch zugewiesen. Viele Gäste sind wieder gegangen.Dafür dürfen spezielle Gäste aber mit ihrem Maserati sogar direkt auf die Terrasse fahren.......und bekommen natürlich auch sofort einen Tisch! Wobei solche Gäste keinem Lokal gut tun!Aber all das interessiert in diesem Laden niemand!Die Kellner nehmen die Bestellung mit Hand in der Hosentasche auf, der Boden ist verschmutzt und voller Unkraut und die Tische sind voller Spüren der vorherigen Gäste. Brot wird weder zur Vorspeise noch zum Hauptgericht serviert......obwohl es dazu gehört. Auf Nachfrage hört man ein gelangweiltes " haben Sie kein Brot bekommen? Hat Kollege vergessen"!Dafür erhält man Rechnung ohne sie überhaupt verlangt zu haben, und das 2 x fehlende Brot wird auch hier einfach ignoriert.So ein Lokal müßten wir Gäste eigentlich komplett boykottiere!"

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings.The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."

"das Lokal befindet sich auf dem Weg vom Bhf zur Stadtmitte in einer Seitenstraße. Wenn man durch die Eingangstür geht, befindet man sich in einem Vorraum und muss zumindest nicht mehr nach dem Weg zu den Toiletten fragen Durch eine weitere Tür kommt man in das Restaurant, welches sich schlauchartig nach hinten ausdehnt. Mittig steht eine Theke ohne Bestuhlung. Nach meinem Eintreffen wurde ich vom Wirt freundlich begrüßt und erhielt einen Tisch im vorderen Bereich zugewiesen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und auch die reservierten Tische füllten sich noch. Viele Gäste schienen persönlich bekannt zu sein, da sie namentlich angesprochen und sich gegenseitig "gefoppt" wurde.Nach meiner Bestellung musste ich einige Zeit auf mein Essen warten, was evtl. sowohl dem gut besuchtem Lokal als auch einigen telefonischen Bestellungen zum selbst abholen geschuldet war.Geschmacklich war das Essen super, allerdings fand ich die Portion zu klein, grds. für den guten Preis aber auch in Ordnung. Richtig satt geworden bin ich leider nicht.Zum Abschluss gab es einen Uzo und bei einem Preis von unter 20€ für ein Essen und 2 Weizen gab es keinen Grund zu meckern."

"Just popped in for a quick lunch - soup and main course for three off the lunchtime menu, plus a pot of Chinese tea between us came to less that 20 euros. Very good service. Food tasty, with fresh vegetables. Perfectly satisfying. Next door to an old synagogue, with interesting posters (mainly in German) about the closure of the nearby Belsen concentration camp. Nearby French gardens beautiful to walk in."
