"We sat outside under umbrellas and the house brews Tettanager beer. The waitresses wear traditional dresses, our waitress was friendly enough to make a picture with my 15 year old son. The restaurant sits right next to the original city gate. There's a lot to see if you eat outside. See if you can locate the pigs of Tettnang. The food is traditionally German with Speatzel and Steak, salads with pickled vegetables, Snitzel and Brezeln. A nice atmosphere, in the evening we were playing a traditional German Opah band. The food is very good and cheap."

"Wir waren gestern dort (Dienstag) und es war sehr gut besucht. Wir saßen im hinteren Bereich, der sehr schön mit Holz modernisiert wurde. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Leider war das Essen fad (ich würze sehr selten nach), aber weder die Kässpätzle noch die wässrige Sauce haben nach 'irgendwas' geschmeckt. Das Fleisch (Rostbraten) war okay. Nur der Salat war wirklich sehr frisch und lecker. Preislich in der oberen Mittelklasse. Zum Salatessen kommen wir gerne wieder, aber ansonsten wohl kaum...."

"Wir waren während unserer Messezeit hier und haben direkt nach dem ersten mal entschieden, dass wir in dieser Zeit jeden Abend hier hin kommen. Das Essen war wirklich jeden Abend sehr gut. Egal, ob Pizza, Pasta oder Salat. Vor allem hatten wir das Essen immer recht schnell auf dem Tisch. Nicht selbstverständlich in einem vollen Restaurant. Der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren auch immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind ok. Es gibt Gerichte, die sind etwas hochpreisiger. Aber die muss man ja nicht unbedingt nehmen. Wir waren auf jeden Fall froh, dass wir diese Osteria direkt am ersten Abend besucht haben und damit auch die weiteren Abende."
