We were there waiting for more than an hour, nothing from what we ordered came. No one came to say anything while we were waiting and when i went to ask, they apologized in a way like why you came in such time. The food might be good, but with this kind of service, i dont think i will wanna go there again anymore. Ver carta

Staying in a local hotel and was bored with the meagre offerings on the hotel menu, so thought I would give this a try. Its 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Courtyard Marriott, service was fast and friendly, with the food being hot, tasty and portions being of a good size. Meal and a few beers for around 20 Euro's in this part of town is a bargain. Will visit again.

Düsseldorf is probably known for a number of things: the Rhine promenade and the Kasematten, the Königsallee and the concert hall, the Mediahafen, the Japanese community and the yearly firework display. Chinese restaurants...not so much. And yet, China Town must be among the very best...in Düsseldorf, and don't ask me to mention others because they don't come to mind now, though I know there are a few (besides the take away ones). It has an extensive menu, and everything I've tried was very tasty indeed. Since it is in an area with many offices, it offers a nice lunch buffet for about 11 Eur (all you can eat). Went to this Chinese restaurant for dinner last night as it is close to the place we live. Have been going to this place for quite sometime for lunch buffet and thought of trying some dishes from à la carte last night. Ordered Spring rolls...and vegetable noodles which was quite good though had eggs in the noodles (which was even not specified in the menu cart- so please check and ask before) We ordered main course with chicken and sauce which turned out just dry (without curry) and was served with Rice. We were burnt by some chinese restaurants in europe so we were more careful when choosing chinese restaurant. But after a few days of solid meat and potatoes, we are ready for chinese food, And we met this restaurant. We saw that location was prime,...the building size was big and the decoration was fully traditional so we expected that the price would be hefty. Still, the GPS showed that this is the only one nearby so we decided to eat there. And we were blessed. The manager was very cheerful and fun. There's a huge 2m tall vase at the entrance, boldly announcing the theme, and inside it's warm and cosy and feels distinctly Chinese, with dark woods and lantern lighting. I felt it could have been dimmed a little, though. It's like eating under floodlights.There are all the usual dishes on offer and a vast array of them, too. I was pleased to see two types of dim sum, and tried both, followed by duck with a sweet (but no-so-sour) mango sauce.While the dumplings seemed mass-produced rather than homemade, they were perfectly acceptable and fresh.
