"WOW, just WOW! I chose this restaurant because I had seen so many pictures and heard about what Ben did during the lockdown. It was also a place where I reunited with some old friends, and no one was disappointed with the food. Three people at our table ordered the vegan tart, and they said it was packed with flavor and absolutely amazing. Every course was brilliant, and now everyone is making plans to bring their partners back! I definitely recommend it to anyone! "

"This restaurant is in a quaint village location. Beautifully festive and cosy. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The food is tasty well prepared and presented. We had a Confit Duck starter which looked divine, a soup which was warming and full of hearty goodness. The Mains were, pork belly with crackling which melted in the mouth, lamb shank which just fell off the bone. Desert, well what can I say about the Chocolate Sphere? It looked magical as the hot sauce melted and cracked the sphere, (Never remove this from the menu! . We will be back again. Thank you to all the team."

"This is a lovely pub! I stopped by for lunch after taking a walk in the area. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having shoe covers for walkers at the entrance. The staff are warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed a great lunch at an incredibly reasonable price. I will definitely be back. It's absolutely worth a visit! Price per person: £1–10. Food: 5/5. "I genuinely had an amazing experience here! The service was phenomenal, even when my group wanted to change seating areas and they were still so busy! But they got us sorted right away and were so genuine with their interactions with us and others around. The atmosphere was also beautiful. I’m not from here but it’s amazing to see how old things are and well maintained. The people in this place were very lovely. Some even sharing a word or two. Everybody seemed so lovely and kept the atmosphere of the restaurant very homey. And my god the food.. I know I went when I was hungry but I still reckon this was some real good food! I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, some cheesy garlic bread and the sticky toffee pudding. And the portions are good sizes, the food tastes great. I honestly highly recommend this place. It was third time lucky for me and my friends. The vibes of the place just made it such a beautiful place to come to for a meal. The dining setting (separate from the bar area) would be perfect for an evening date."

"That sounds a bit extreme, but the first instance was for a business meeting, then a birthday party, another business meeting and finally just some lunch with friends.I’ll group my review into one as it’s easier that way.Service was hit and miss the last time I visited. We practically had to call the waiters to come and take our orders. After that it was absolutely fine but we would advise the staff to pay further attention to the customers who have their heads up and are trying to get some attention…Food wise, everything was epic as usual, so I sure will be returning."
