We stumbled upon this great find on our way to Stonehenge. The food was excellent, the prices were great, and the owners and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for lunch to the Pflugmanns.

We booked a table for ten people with only one days notice. when we arrived we were greeted and had five star service all evening.. everything was perfect and we are booking again soon. The meals and dessert were brilliant. highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for the first time here for lunch last Sunday. Service was welcoming,quick and attentive ,and both the Roast Beef and the Vegetarian Nut-loaf were delicious and well presented with ample portions. Great place, I've been driving past this pub for the last 30years never went in, this time I did for a bite to eat as I was passing through, not much on the menu, but hopefully that will change in the near future, great food, friendly staff, (just don't loiter around the toilets) LOL. We spent a few days in our motorhome at this lovely spot. The owners are incredibly friendly, making you feel like part of the family. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a fantastic country pub. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Food: 4/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Highly recommend trying the Sunday Roast!

I discovered this wonderful pub during the Imber bus day and had a fantastic lunch. They offer a great selection of ales and delicious food. We tried the steak and ale pie, cottage pie, and ham, eggs, and chips—all homemade and truly outstanding. The staff was friendly, and despite the crowd, the service was excellent.
