"We help our Supper Club at Streatham Kitchen last Sunday and we pre-ordered the Suckling Pig for the group. We had some calamari, halloumi and the cerviche for starters, to accompany the pig we had the bavette steak and the pulled pork with stewed beans which was delicious. The show and presentation of the meals were top notch and we thoroughly stuffed ourselves. If you are looking for a little bit of theatre with the pig then this is the place, they also have other meat and seafood platters. A beer and bottle of wine set the meal perfectly."

"PIzza Euforia is far and wide the very best pizza in Wimbledon surroundings. It's not just the quality of the food that is outstanding, but their customer service also. Tonight I forgot to add a pizza to the order for our young son, and without any complaint they offered to turn the additional delivery around in 10 minutes during a very busy evening, including free delivery with a smile, which they really didn't need to do as I had forgotten to add it to the order. They're incredibly generous and know how to treat their customers like kings. We will continue to be loyal customers to this fantastic local and recommend them to all our friends."

"I chose this restaurant to have a day celebration for my partner. We came knowing we would have more choice. And no disappointment! A choice for both people feeds 2 people, and only one refill we needed - rice. We were full for hours. Everything was so delicious! Gazpacho was more like a desert. The curries were smashed. Salads, especially the kale OMG! We both thought £25 each was worth what we got, neither did we need the huge refill. The quality of the food and the service is something we gladly paid for. Not to mention the BYOB feature where you don't pay the fees as against other restaurants. That's where we're going to go back and we're going to take our friends too. I can now understand why the week prior to their booking was already fully booked with only a few slots left for the day."

"only at chez bruce ate, because our original choice to the jubilee dinner (thames river cruise) was cancelled at short notice after we had already booked our hotel: in wandsworth. instead of canceling the whole trip to london, I decided to try cb and see if they could fit us as they were only about 30 minutes away from our hotel. it was a Tuesday night when we were able to get in. I have bruce poole cookbook so was very excited to taste the restaurant and eating was really good. very similar to la trumpet in chiswick and I think they share. my starter of enoki mushroom salad with romaine, rump and comte was enormous. my cousin also thought her makrelenrillettes were first class. we have rejoined our head; I choose the hain that was outstanding again. my cousin complained that her pork was too much meat and not enough of something else. she was again on board with the dessert of white chocolate jerk and rusty ice cream. I had the cheeseboard that was good, but I had better. good wine list, with a little decent half bottle. However, the bottle was ordered by pomerol i was not available, but the sommelier hit an alternative, cheaper bottle that was very good. brot was very nice. service was okay, not great. there were some stretch before us to pour wein, to take plates that were both my cousin and I annoyed. but this little grip aside, I thought £200 without wein was pretty good."
