The food at this restaurant was fantastic! We loved every dish we tried. Ordering over the phone was a breeze, and our food arrived quickly and steaming hot.

Lovely meal at the Clifton Cuisine last night delicious food as well as quick and attentive service. Good value for money. They also make a fabulous Irish coffee!

Went this afternoon with my mum and nephew. The food was really nice and the waiters were friendly. I asked for a vegetarian dish not on the menu and they made it for me. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again soon. Good value for money and an enjoyable afternoon out.

We ate at the clifton cuisine this evening, the food was outstanding as it always was under the previous owners but the service was below par. No interaction from the staff, after we finished our main course we waited for 20 minutes for someone to ask us if we would like dessert or coffee but instead the waiters were busy chatting together, in the end we paid and left. Four scored for food quality.

Tonight was my last visit to this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and the food was cold, resulting in some dishes being sent back twice. To make matters worse, we were overcharged by £16. Despite the manager offering to give us the money back or keep it as a tip, we decided to let him keep it because half of our party had already left. However, we will not be returning to Clifton Cuisine again. Ver carta

THE NEW OWNERS ARE HORRIBLE. The man was very rude on the phone and disrespectful while we were placing our order. Luckily, we checked the order while the delivery driver was still present and realized that half of it was missing. When we called to inform the man, he insisted that the complete order was delivered and accused us of being mistaken. We had the delivery driver speak to him and explain what was missing from the order, but he initially dismissed her as just a customer. Eventually, he demanded more money for the missing items, which seemed overpriced to us. Frustrated, we decided to return the food and get a refund. I have used this title as I ordered a takeaway to be delivered. I have been vegetarian for over 40 years and was disappointed that instead of the vegetarian meal I had ordered, a meat one was delivered. I found this out too late and had already dished it up onto my rice and other side dishes I also took a mouthful before realising the mistake and felt physically sick. I rang the restaurant who, admittedly, offered to send me the correct curry but by this time I felt so ill I did not want to eat anything. I requested a refund but was told that as I had paid online they would not/could not refund me!!! I was not impressed and said as much to be told sorry, it 's human error what do you want me...

This place is tired and dated and looks like it hasn’t been re-decorated/refurbished for donkeys years. The walls and skirting boards are covered in marks. We struggled to find a chair that was clean enough to sit on as they were all stained. Service was bad right from the telephone enquiry regarding booking. The girl was so rude that my daughter put the phone down. Service in the restaurant was no better. Drinks order was taken quickly but despite only waiting a short time the girl placed all the drinks in the wrong places.
