"02/01/22 first visit and we were not disappointed. a friendly host they could not wish to have made us and charlie dog so welcome, he even asked us if the background music was our taste! can't go wrong with a little george benson! fantastic coffee the owner asked us how we cooked our coffee milky for me and strong for my mister super boiled full English breakfast with much hotter slightly boiled toast it was just perfect! the magnificent view from the winter garden deserves to do well because it was so beautiful and delicious food served at a good price. please support them good, open small independent business like these in these difficult times it is good for them and good for their soul "

This restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy a traditional English cream tea after a refreshing walk through the hills of Fairlight. The prices are excellent too.

Lovely spot, eat indoors or out, wide variety for food to cater for everything from cup of coffee to pie, mash and veg. Dog friendly, fab as it is near to so many good walks, and car park (paid) very close by.

Our first ever visit today and very pleased with everything food, menu choices, the restaurant itself (layout and position) and the host who was very attentive and perceptive. We will definitely be visiting the Cafe again!

we were a few times and will meet the owner steve. he is so courteous. at an earlier visit I said my husband and I like baileys, so he bought a few when he knew we were coming in. the vegan cakes are amazing. wet, not too sweet or sick. all four of us loved them. the Christmas dinner we had was beautiful and the turkey was moist and juicy. probably the best I ever had. the light Christmas Eve was so beautiful that we bought 4 portions to the house. also loved the glowing wine. Coast Guard will be our regular. I try the breakfasts in this week. bravo an steve and the team.
