Coffeeboy - Carta

I visited Coffeeboy last week for a late breakfast with friends and the coffee and doughnuts on offer were superb! If you've got a sweet tooth, I'd highly recommend you give this place a visit as the huge array of treats on offer is fantastic. Good service too!

Pretty decent coffee shop. Friendly staff and service. The only reason for marking down 1 star was that it felt a little unclean as tables hadn't been wiped down between customers. I noticed it served other food but can't comment on that as I only stopped for a coffee and a cheeky cakey treat.

This restaurant used to be nice, but today it has gone downhill. I ordered a coffee and was told that it would be served to my table. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, I had to go to the counter to inquire about my order. The waitress rudely told me that I needed to come get my coffee myself. Ver carta

I come here quite often with friends because the coffee and cakes are good and parking is easy. Sometimes the service leaves a bit to be desired but I have realised that it’s fine if one particular person is working. She clears the tables immediately, serves the coffee with a smile and is generally very efficient. Apparently she’s called Corrina and if she was working every time we go I’d give Coffeeboy five stars. Brownies and donuts are amazing.

I have visited this restaurant a few times now. The spacious building has comfortable seating. They offer a variety of coffee cup sizes and can adjust the strength and temperature to your liking. The coffee is good and the service is excellent. Many patrons use the place as a workspace, spending hours working on their laptops over a cup of coffee. The parking availability is great. They also offer light snacks, which I plan to try next time I visit.

Customers are frustrated with the lack of communication with management at this restaurant. The drive-thru is chaotic, with customers sometimes waiting up to 20 minutes with no other cars in sight. The staff are friendly but seem embarrassed by the situation. While the coffee is good and the staff are pleasant, the overall management of the restaurant is lacking. It is recommended to visit only if you have plenty of time and a lot of patience. The potential for improvement is there, but the issues have been ongoing for too long. Ver carta

I am a tea drinker, tea here is usually better than most coffee shops. However, as it is basically a glass box, in summer, you can't escape the heat/glare when I visited yesterday (December)it was like an ice box. The leather seats are freezing, waitress said it would heat up once heating got going .They had been open a few hours_ when do they put the heating on? The place was half empty with all customers still wearing coats/scarves/gloves. We had drinks stayed an hour but felt too cold to stay eat. Most of customers were leaving- at 12.30! wont star open much longer if cant afford to heat the place.Shame!

I've been a loyal customer of Coffee Boy for quite some time, but my recent visit on August 25th left me deeply disappointed. I came in with my colleague as usual, looking forward to a pleasant coffee break. However, what I witnessed was nothing short of a hygiene nightmare. A customer entered the establishment with their unleashed dog, which immediately raised concerns for me. What shocked me even more was that some of the staff members started petting the dog with their bare hands, allowing it to lick them, and then proceeded to serve food and coffee without washing their hands. My Email to Coffee Boy. Good Afternoon. I am making a complaint about the service that i have received from your Huddersfield Coffee Boy shop; the circumstances are as follows: Approximately, 15:45 hours today, i attended and ordered a white mocha and a cappocino and made payment with a card. The staff member was a lady. We took a seat and awaited our drinks. Having waited for 15 minutes, i approached the counter to enquire why our drinks had not been served. There were 5 lady staff members present and having observed the coffee machine i realised that there were no drinks being prepared. I said to one of the lady staff member, ‘I ordered 2 drinks 15 minutes ago, but have not received them’... Ver carta
