"Nice cafe with good food and reasonably priced (for somewhere in a royal Park in London). Visited at lunchtime on Sunday 30th June with a large group doing a charity walk; it was a hot day, and the place was very busy. Most of the food was fine, with the exception of my order which was a Warm Chicken Pimento Salad. When this arrived I tucked in to find that the first piece of chicken I cut into was raw. Not just a bit pink, but actually translucent raw. I returned it to the counter and it was duly replaced with a fresh order which was properly cooked and quite delicious. The manager did come over to reassure me that this was very unusual, but that he regularly eats raw chicken without a problem! Struck me as an odd thing to say?! Hygiene rating on the door was 4/5, but I fear that this slips when the kitchen is busy, so check carefully before you tuck in! In fairness, I haven't been ill (yet) but I think it might have been a close call..."

Goodness knows where they source their croissants, but they are revolting. Over-sweet and dry. Don't be tempted.

Coffee was overpriced and bitter. Staff were rude, awful customer service. Food was poor quality and not worth the money

After a lovely walk around Richmond, my partner and I thought we'd get a cup of tea at Collicis. At 1645 we tried to get in and the door was locked. Despite signage on the door suggesting in March it would close at 1730, and both google and tripadvisor confirming this, not one member of staff came to explain otherwise.

Some years ago, this was a good place for a lunch while walking. Today, I visited had probably the worst bowl of homemade soup I have ever tasted. As for my wife 's choice of some kind of chicken, words fail me. I think the soggy cardboard box in which it was served was probably more wholesome. They say they want staff, oh how they need them! Really dreadful. Insipid coffee. Bacon bap forgot the egg I’d paid for) was cold as well as the sausage bap and nearly £8 each! Also gave the excuse that the fryer was broken so we didn’t order a burger and then we saw others with burgers and chips. V odd. Avoid if at all possible. Shame really as location is great. Clearly for the rich cyclists!

Very limited choice of food. We only wanted a snack type thing but the only sandwiches available were toasties!!Customer service was appalling, it took three attempts to get the table cleaned and then it was left very sticky all over. Unfortunately the location of this place gives it a captive audience. It may be ok for a takeaway coffee but I certainly wouldn’t recommend eating here.

My wife and I both ordered the full English breakfast which arrived barely hot with both the sausage beans being pretty much cold. We asked for it to be replaced and got a just acceptable replacement almost certainly blasted in the microwave. My hash brown was consequently reduced to a damp string like texture. At just under £15.00 each along with apathetic service I would certainly never order from them again. Ver carta

I came on a family trip for a coffee stop. Location is great and the selection of coffees and cakes spot on. Raspberry muffin and bacon bap both delicious, as were the hot drinks. Only problem was the amount of time it took at the outdoor bar to order and get the food. One member of staff very slow and the other appeared to be doing very little! Both were friendly but I feel they need to speed up and work together better in the busy summer months!

This is a Conveniently positioned Cafe in Richmond Park, close to Roehampton Gate, with a large car park and adjacent Restrooms! The friendly staff provide a slick service. That said, due to the Cafe’s popularity at this picturesque rendezvous point, they can sometimes be put under pressure at Peak Visiting times: A degree of patience and understanding is sometimes needed! There is a good selection of Hot Cold food and drinks, offering a Select choice of Coffees and Pastries (See photos! . It is very popular ‘Stop’ for Cyclists ‍; there is a large external ‘Decking Patio Area, with seating and Tables, providing a ‘Delightful Alfresco Ambience’ with a Park view. The Cafe is ‘Dog Friendly’ an...

"We had booked with booking.com . On arrival we were told that we didn't get breakfast included and that it would be £15 a head. We accepted this although thought was pretty steep for breakfast in a pub.The first morning we were given a menu clearly stating that breakfasts were included with all accommodation. I ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon and the other two ordered a full English breakfast which included homemade black pudding. The breakfasts arrived ,one of my poached eggs was runny, the other hard. The English breakfasts had no black pudding on the plates and when queried we were told that the deliveries hadn't arrived. Doesn't homemade imply made on or near the premises and as the owner states he is a butcher by trade I would expect he had made the black pudding. No alternatives were offered and presentation was distinctly lacking , with the baked beans poured over the other items. The next day I risked the full breakfast with black pudding which was lovely. But again the others had badly cooked poached eggs. We were offered no fruit juice, cereal or even toast and marmalade. On leaving we discovered the pub was unmanned , despite poor mobile signal. The owner turned up after 15 minutes. The bill was handed over, charging us for seven breakfasts when we had six, it was adjusted after he asked if one of us had had two breakfast one day? He served and cooked them so should know the answer to that. We were also then overcharged for nine coffee when three coffees and two teas had been ordered. Having had a family B and small hotel in York I advised him that standards were not what I was used to. I spoke to someone who had also visited recently and she stated a member of staff had charged them £15 per head for their similar breakfast where we were charged the menu price. Exceptionally poor menu, inaccurate advise saying breakfast included then charging us and probably the worst breakfast I have eaten in similar accommodation."
