this place does not serve Indian cuisine. the curries are sweet. service was fast and friendly. the food was economical. but don't eat Indian.

very disappointed that a delivery should take more than 2 hours on a Thursday evening and still not received. will not be using this restaurant ever again

Best butter chicken in Gloucester. No problems with delivery as highlighted in other comments. Food arrived warm, however, samosas were slightly over fried.

Food delivered over an hour and a half late, delivery driver wouldn’t read or listen to instructions to find house, and food was lukewarm at best. Restaurant then refused to give even a small amount of compensation. Disappointing as food would have tasted nice if arrived hot, but not worth the effort, wouldn’t order again.

8:35pm estimated delivery and it arrived with no apology at 10pm!!! I rang at 9pm and was told it would be 10min again no apology and I rang again at 9:30pm and the lady on the phone told me it left 5min ago??? Worst service I’ve had via just eat app and I would like an apology and refund but doubt I will receive either!!!

not great. this place was quite quiet when we visited on Thursday night, and the reason for it soon became obvious. there was something wrong with her beerhahn, which lasted 5 minutes (yes, 5 minutes) to pour each pint, and they all came flat and taste weakly shallow. the food was certainly edible, but definitiv nothing to scream, with the lamb biryani a particularly good example of the bad kitchen the meat was like gum I propose to avoid this place, unless they are absolutely pulverized.

that was my first eating in london and it shouldn't have been that way. in a hurry to find a place to din, we entered the next open space and it turned out to be devastating. Apart from the chicken cure that was a little acceptable, there is nothing else about the place that can be praised. the ambiente is quite common, sitting is rugged, the service is slow. the personal began to negate us a little more than we communicated with him in his native language. for those seeking Indian/Sub-Continental Food in london, they go to this wise only if they want to learn from their own mistake.

Utter rubbish. I am writing at my disgust at the food you presented to me the other night The start chicken chat was mostly cucumber and the main meal was watery and have very little meat in it abd the Bhunaa was more like a tomato puree. The bread was half cooked and then you had the cheek to charge me £30.35 I would have complained more if my train was not about to go What is worrying was that there were Amercian tourists in there and they may have thought that is what to expect when to comes to Indian meal I am so dissappointed with your food I felt I had to complain The worst Indian meal I have ever seen.

It hurts me to have to leave such a negative review for one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Gloucester but I’m afraid the delivery service is just nowhere near acceptable. This is not only mine but the views of others who have fed back to me recently. We ordered at Around 6.00 pm and were given a 7.10 delivery time not great but willing to accept it given the quality of the food. 7.30 came along and nothing. Rang to chase up to be told that it was on its way. Finally arrived at 8.00 Barely warm!! Couldn’t blame the delivery guy who was polite but clearly embarrassed.Food was fine after we warmed it up but I’m afraid that the delay was simply unacceptable.Its the end of a 20 year plus era...
