"On the top floor of this Coop grocery and department store, you will find a terrific restaurant and if you time it right,less people than normal. We hit it at 5:45pm and the new salads and vegetables were just being put out. We chose steak...with all you can pile on sides for 19.95 CHF and the Bratwurst with the same for 13.95 CHF. We had our own waters and they have refill fountains there for you if you need to refill for free. It wasn’t crowded with maybe 10 people total in the whole place. So we sat at one of the front windows facing Bahnhofstrasse and had a nice view on a Saturday evening. There are patio tables facing the side park but mostly for smokers. The steak was cooked to our desire and herb butter given with the steak and special spicy mustard for the bratwurst. Both were tender and delicious and in my opinion way better than what we had had elsewhere. The staff were overly friendly and spoke perfect English. That’s why we stayed and ordered. In comparison to eating areas, we found this was nicer than Manora’s restaurant but less food choices. I ate here due to Coop City seemed way cleaner and friendlier. Can’t compare taste since we did not eat at Manora. The pictures show all the food we chose and it was all very good. Not overly spicy. We chose: creamy artichoke, grilled zucchini with eggplant (both of these were in the hot vegetable area and were our fav’s. The salad was lettuce with the celery in oil put over it, sweet pickles with small bologna, white cole slaw, and pea salad. Other choices we didn’t try were: hot pasta noodles with sauce, fries, and other anti pastas. I’m sure they must be over crowded if you hit it wrong but we were thrilled to find them this particular day and time!!"

If you have meat or fish from the grill make sure it is fully cooked. On one occasion turkey was only just cooked, on another salmon was raw in the middle and had to return. Ver carta

Very nice selection of food and spacious. A major plus for me was the indoor playground, good to enjoy a coffee and cake while the little ones can occupy themselves for a while.

This was considered one of the valued and cheapest meal we had in swiss. And its Tasty! It goes by size and just use your puzzle skills to pile on what you wanted to eat. Smile at the cashier and eat! Plenty of seatings here too

There is an option to chose a size of your plate (3 sizes available) and pay for the plate so to say. Then you can fill your plate as much as you want with your preferred foods. Quite a bit of variety, especially in the salad bar. I chose the medium size. 10 CHF. Definitely worth every penny! Ver carta

We discovered Coop in Zurich on our two-week tour through Switzerland and ate there as often as possible. There were three vegans in our party of six and they always found a lot of choice. The salad buffet is excellent as the hot section and I liked the desserts/kissen. It is cheap for Switzerland and good quality.

This coop-Reschti is a gastronomic dream. The food always tastes very good, remains varied even with very regular visits and the eye always gets its money's worth here. The warm and cold buffets are beautifully prepared and attentively maintained every day. The cleanliness and the atmosphere in the restaurant are impressive. The staff is attentive and friendly. Because of my professional work in the field, I know numerous Coop restaurants throughout Switzerland and this ZH-Bhfstr is definitely one of the best!
