"Staying in San Benedetto Del Tronto we fancied having something a bit less holiday and a bit more traditional Italian, and set off coaxing our little rental Fiat 500 up the steep inclines to Monteprandone. Once there we went into the beautifully arranged and intimate setting of Osteria 1887. We 're foodies at home but weren 't overly sure of likely quantities etc, so we just went for the set menu for two at a ridiculously cheap €30. The meal amounted to five courses plus water, breads, and coffee (for which I had no room left). Particular mention would go to the crisply coated stuffed olives, the finely cut courgette fries, the delightfully light and delicate ravioli, and the beautifully seared lamb. A half litre of an enjoyable lightly sparkling rosé added only €2 to the bill unbelievable! At a total of €32, don 't think it 's too cheap to be good back home I 'd not hesitate to pay more than double that for the same meal and I 'd still be walking away happy. With the polite and quick service on top, we wouldn 't hesitate to recommend this place."

"We're back again this year! Taking advantage of the beach service we had to eat several times at the restaurant.. what to say..staff very kind, great welcome and especially good food. Light and crispy frying, never greased, to try the cured with onion of tropea and balsamic vinegar but also the vastra choice of appetizers, stocked of mussels, salad of sea...the first dishes... excellent all the fish, fresh and cooked in a sought after and not trivial way... abundant and perfect value for money."

"I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Chefish restaurant in San Benedetto del Tronto last Saturday evening. I was literally amazed by the quality of the food, the care of the service and the atmosphere of the place. The menu offers a vast choice of fish-based dishes, all very fresh and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was impeccable. The staff are friendly and professional, and took care of us at all times. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and refined, but at the same time informal and welcoming. In conclusion, I can say that the Chefish Restaurant is a culinary experience not to be missed. If you are looking for a high quality seafood restaurant, this is the place for you."

"Activities practically overlooking the sea, I think there are only paid parking spaces on blue lines. Fascinating, well-kept place, not huge but not small either. Seats also available outside. Personally, I took some Ascoli olives and a sliced one and I was super satisfied, the cooking of the requested meat was fully respected (it's not a given), the price is in line with the product offered and the quality certainly isn't lacking.
